Suki looked up when Umichi answered the door, smiling. He appeared dishealved, but at least he was still alive. She knew he went out, mainly soloing, which made her worry, but he would do what he wanted to. She smiled when he tried to say good morning. She realised that he had probably gone to be much later then she had, and that she had most likely woken him from very little sleep. She felt bad about that.

"You need sleep" She said to him, "I didn't mind waiting. I occupied my time well enough. I don't much like how sleep is here. Weird and gray" She shrugged, "And I'm use to the noises of my brothers and father" She smiled once more.

"I know its still early, but..." What could she say? I've been thinking, and I really like you? Because that didn't sound desperate, or needy. "I was bored, and..." She let out a sigh, wishing she could be more confident in some things. Perhaps she had been too sheltered her whole life. That wasn't something she could change, but perhaps being stuck here was a blessing in disguise.

Maybe, just maybe, she could become more confident, and independent from her family. She looked up, smiled and shrugged, "I don't like eating alone, and was wondering if you'd join me" She said softly, She swallowed, feeling quite nervous. She looked down, and waited for his answer.
