Alright, nice posting Ex, and all around. There is now only two people who have not yet posted their introduction posts, but that's okay. I'll move things along today/tomorrow.
I'm not sure how familiar you guys are with roleplaying multiple timelines. If you are, then that's great. If you're not, it's really simple. Whenever I advance the story, I'll break it off as a new 'timeline' from whatever we are currently doing. This ensures that all the interactions from the previous timelines have a chance to close properly. It will look something like this:
Olivia did this and that, said this and this. Text text text. Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.Text text text.
ββλλλλββ
Later, this and that happen. Oh my, big drama. Text text text. Text text text.Text text text. Text text text.Text text text. Text text text.
So, you just break your post into as many segments as there are timelines, if you wish to linger in a previous timeline. And whenever you want to close a timeline and move on, you just do so. Multiple timelines are only ever needed when the story advances from one 'scene' to the next. For example, from before the WARG ceremony to during it, and then after it. The ceremony is basically just the headmaster/general of the academy talking, so there isn't much interaction to be had.
I will give each timeline a name in order to avoid confusion.
Just thought I'd mention this. Let me know if this is rocket science, and I'll explain it further.
