My opinion on your cses so far: 
John, I think mind control and memory alteration aren't in the same vein. We'll see what Faith says about it later, though.

Hiro, I assumed you'll have time control haha. I think your character is okay, just the phrasing of it. If he alters temperature, he might as well freeze things too, so my advise would be to 'raise temperatures'.

Twins, I think they're good. Same with the other Captain, it's pretty unique.

Don't change your CSes yet, this is just my assessment and Faith will be the one to decide things.
