Superpower
Name of ability: A user would be called an "Emmer." Electromagnetic Energy Control.
Description: At advanced stages, an Emmer could do anything from use large amounts of energy from surrounding areas to send out 'pulses' similar to echolocation, except with energy, to detect and see electromagnetic fields. This means that, if he studies a single person's brain close enough, he could 'read' their thoughts, and on a basic level, detect emotion. He can see, feel, the electrical impulses going on in someone's brain, detect the field that surrounds all living beings, similar to a shark, or if enough energy is available, he can even focus and launch it at something.
---
Level one abilities: Vision flickers with the sight of someone's nervous system in action, unconscious detection of basic emotions. If near a large energy source, and under powerful emotion, whether stressed, surprised, or otherwise, he could possibly set off a detonation of energy, causing a blackout in the process.
Level three abilities: Begin to utilize the energy-echolocation, better unconscious and conscious detection of emotions at distance, with concentration and focus, can begin understanding someone's brain [Meaning: Staring at their head really hard for more than ten minutes], begin to create mental pictures of the area around him.
Level five abilities: Unconscious energy-echolocation, unconscious, efficient detection of emotion, can easily see into someone else's brain/nervous system, but still requires study and time to understand, easy large-scale refocusing and launching of energy from nearby power source, and with concentration, small-scale energy refocusing and launching. At this point, the constant, unconscious energy-echolocation will allow the Emmer to 'see' outside of his body, and look into buildings or even underground for quite a distance.
Weakness/drawback: Requires a powerful energy source to use energy blasts, constant information input can lead to occasional overstressing and and a rare breakdown, emotions from surrounding people will either begin to influence his own thoughts, or force himself to become more unfeeling and emotionless. The possibility that Andrew will go into a comatose state increase with the greater his range of mind-sight.

History
History: Andrew grew up in a small town where the majority of the population was of hispanic origin, and most of the neighborhoods were, as some call it, "Ghettos." However, the minority of the population, the 'Whites', took up all the higher paying, more controlling jobs. And as a 'Whiteman,' as his nickname became, he quickly ended up earning money at better jobs than all his buddies at school -where he pretty much turned the entire school into his friends-, and so his resume, by the time he got out of high school, was all nice and plump with different jobs, recommendations and positive comments. And so after college, he got a nice job for an Oculus Rift branch in New York, and began working on the electronics for the VR headset. While he wasn't working on the electronics themselves, he was working on how to get them to fit and connect as efficiently as possible, and his work resulted in several versions that both halved the current Oculus Rift headset with improvements to the overall hardware and software, where before, they had to sacrifice capability.
The day before the bus ride: Woke up, at Cinnamon Life for breakfast, walked to bus-stop, got coffee from his favorite coffee place between home and bus, got on bus, took bus to the opposite side of the city, got off, walked several blocks to Oculus Rift, spent an 9.5-hour shift working on trying to make the systems more efficient, had Subway leftovers from an ice-lunchbag, stopped at subway on his way back to the bus stop, got a foot long, took the foot long to the bus stop, went home, waited an hour in which he took care of financial STUFF and played video games, had half his Subway sandwich, put the ice-lunchbag in the freezer to get cold again, talked to friends online, put subway in fridge, drank some coke, went to bed at eleven.
Is my superpower okay?
And by large energy source, I don't mean a portable generator. I mean, like, a nuclear reactor, or a large coal power plant, or something like that.
