Hoshiko heaved a sigh, shaking her head and laughing. "And I told my dad that I'd be okay...you're probably right, Yamada-san. First day jitters had me thinking I was in an anime, I guess." She laughed again, though she rally couldn't shake it. Since when did a mental disease have the symptom of synchronized hallucinating with four other people? Ken said that he, too, heard the man's voice. It was weird, but the grumbling in her stomach was enough to pull her into reality and make her forget about it. Hoshiko agreed to tell Ken if anything else happened. He seemed like a nice guy, unlike the others. Leaving the classroom, Hoshiko walked down the hall, taking out her phone. She dialed her home, where her mother thankfully was resting on her day off. Mrs. Koizumi answered the phone, and Hoshiko began to ask her about the dorm. Her mother was hesitant, as she didn't know if the dorm was co-ed or not, and the fact that she was their only daughter left. A year without her always around would be quite hard. The young lady assured, however, that she'd come home frequently, and that this would be a new experience for her, one that could help her grow. Mrs. Koizumi hung up the phone, telling Hoshiko she'd ask her father quickly, while he was on lunch. A call back latter, and Hoshiko was golden. Smiling, she waled down to the faculty office. Quite a few people were already walking the same way, and she was excited to think about who would be her dorm-mates. The girl also hoped that this would be quick, because...well, she was starving!
