You can indeed acquire additional spell schools, but unless you had previous unlocked something such as Gishiki, then you only start with two spell schools.

Also, I think you accidentally put your bio stuff on the IC. Might want to just do a quick edit of that. It may also be wise to throw your profile (the infosheet at the top of this page) at the bottom of your bio so you can use the hyperlinks on the character list to easily find it later.
