Eventually, she ended up finishing dinner. She set a plate on the counter for Remus, as she wasn't sure if he'd be retreating to the library or his bedroom. She glanced down at her own matching plate. It looked like a hearty meal, which was quite a comfort. She wanted to visit her parents again soon but she didn't have the emotional energy to do so. Hopefully when her massive project was finished, she'd have more of a sense to seek out those who she hadn't seen in ages. Hermione was growing a bit restless. "Well I hope it tastes alright." She muttered, partly to herself and partly to Remus, unsure if he was still around. The girl waved her wand and used a quick clean-up spell and grabbed her plate, deciding to go back to work. The sooner it was finished, the better. Right? - - - The Doctor was interested to hear more about the girl who seemed to slip through many dimensions. It was interesting of course. When the woman finally introduced herself, he gave her a bright smile. "Hello, I'm the Doctor. It's great to meet you, Rose Tyler." He said formally and looked around. "Oh? No, not really." He replied when Rose asked about the TARDIS. "She may need to do some regenerating of her own." He considered. "Which could take a while, if not, she just needs to cool down. I don't know what happened or why I crashed here but she must be hurting..." He considered and pouted thoughtfully, almost the way his previous self had done when thinking. "Since I've got some time to kill, is there anything around here interesting?" He asked her, not really a fan of just standing around doing nothing. There was always something to do or see.
