Prince Aleksandr found himself kept in his room for the morning, studying his Latin before the Royal Breakfast was to start. He had promptly been awoken earlier than normal and been dressed and bathed before his usual time as to allow him study time. Now, he was simply reading A Handbook of a Christian Knight by Desiderius Erasmus. The man was praise worthy of writing some hysterical books. Although, the King did not agree with everything Erasmus wrote, his works were influential and well known, a mandatory reading. The Prince generally enjoyed Erasmus' writings, they were not complicated and addressed accordingly with his Greek studies. Not too far into his studies and outside his window some unusual happenings made noises, but nothing so erroneous that the prince himself felt disturbed or in trouble. He continued reading, even if for a brief second he did pause and take note of the sound and ruffles outside. He awaited one of the servants to come and arouse and escort him for the time of the Royal Breakfast. The king preferred his children to be escorted to main events of the day. Although, his children did have freedom to roam without guards inside the kingdom, but it was required a gaurd stay with the children of royalty when leaving the great castle. Even with the males being trained in combat, regulations were a priority safety precaution. Prince Aleksandr did not mind. The protection seemed to amount as an extra warning, a peacock of his status, not to say his status define him, but nonethless, with a rosary of beads hidden in his pocket, he was definitely one for theatrics.
