It's a lot like Invoker from DotA. You can have three active elements at once in any combination of S, T and W (Stream, Tide and Wave). For example:

SSS
SST
STT
TTT
TTW
TWW
WWW
WSS
SSW
TSW

Those are the possible combinations. Depending on which combination you choose, you gain access to a different basic move. :D
