I need to have a strong economic partner to offset the state controlled market blow to my economy. Likewise, I need a strong military partner to offset the major problem of having about one musket to go around my infantry army of ten men lol

And whatdya know, the first two nations to join fit that bill! XD

Lydiah is essentially going to be the tiny, insignificant nation that is constantly bullied and threatened by larger, more powerful neighbours.

My land army isn't any good either, you know! The defence strategy I had in mind for Lydiah involves the navy working in conjunction with the pathetic Lydiahn army (I won't give any more away :D).

Also, if we do get to decide the terrain of our nation, this is what I plan Lydiah to be like:

I meant the Lance army. If I set up trade agreements with Lydiah and military agreements with the Lance, I'll have the assistance of two major powers to offset my own problems.

My plan is a lot simpler since I have a powerful navy "You need to cross that massive sea to reach the new world, so if you don't play nice with me, good luck with making it there!"

I'll probably do a sketch of what I imagine the Corustarian isles would look like some time tommorow, as well as PM my app (Can't copy and paste from my phone, so I need my laptop to submit it)

Now, where are all the other nations

Okay, I see. That could work.

I'll probably still need to pay off the Lance Empire though. Worst case scenario, Lydiah may even end up as a vassal of the Emperor (which is a bad thing, btw).

Perhaps he won't be interested in such a tiny bit of land?

I wonder what kind of sizes and traits the other nations will be/have?

At worst you will end up in there sphere of influence, unless you somehow fuck with them then you could end up a vassal.

The Republic of New Drakran would be more then willing to discuss trade agreements with the nation of Lydiah. President Kiue would be more then happy to invite the Duke and Duchess around for tea and to discuss the state of the world.
