"You were staring at me like a creep," Lillah pointed out defensively. And she continued to dislike the way he looked at her, smiling in a way that she didn't exactly perceive to be friendly. "Why don't you stumble back home?" She was tempted to add some cliche line about how dangerous it was to be out after dark, but she didn't have much room to talk. Granted, she was confident enough that she could knock the drunken smirk off of the man's face if he tried anything funny. She doubted any confidence he had was backed up by the sort of strength she had--especially since he seemed pretty wasted.
