Drake picked up another scent as it approached, again the rhythmic tapping of rubber against the sidewalk, this time coming from the opposite direction, he sniffed the air, twas definitely a mystical, though he could only tell the species as it grew closer, a Wendigo, the sickly smell of blood covering most of it, must have just had a late evening snack. On a certain level Drake liked, or at least respected the Wendigo, they cleaned up after themselves very efficiently, often barely leaving a trace even to those with eyes to see it. As this particular wendigo passed him, Drake, only taking his eyes off of the paladin for a moment, nodded subtly in greeting, time slowed as he watched as the beast's eyes flicker in a color change, nothing escaping the sharp eyes of the dragon. Turning his attention back to the Paladin after the long moment spent swiftly analyzing the passing wendigo, who was hopefully not off for another late night snack, Drake caught the end of the Paladin's words ".....just stumble back home" Drake wondered if perhaps he should teach this woman respect, he was, after all, among the most powerful of those under the influence of Disbelief, something this woman clearly didn't pay much attention to, or else her attitude might tend more towards that of the wendigo, a racing heart, a sweating brow, polite gestures. Normally he might do just that, but tonight was special, there would be no violence on his watch tonight, it being a sacred tradition to him, in addition there would be no barbequing or deep frying tonight, so Drake decided to have a little fun with this angry woman who had dared to suggest that he abandon his vigil, simply because she thought he had looked at her funny "Creepy? Is this not a free country, am I not free to sit where I want, again you approached me, I was here, minding my own business when you came up and began berating me, I think you owe me an apology" the Dragon toyed with the Paladin as he crossed his arms, again adding extra slur to his words to cover up his sobriety, unsure of her reaction, but more than sure that anything she could throw at him he could take, he continued the smirk that so clearly angered the Paladin.
