Ah, I see. Thank you. I also thought of another question: how does the world look? How cramped is cramped when you talk about the cities, how poor is poor? Are the cities fenced in, is it just desert out there under the trash? How trashy is it inside the cities? Where does food come from if there's little nature left? Is it synthesized?Sorry, I like getting a feel for your world. It's easier to create characters that way.
Think of it as a post-apocalyptic, modern Industrial Revolution. The human race is overpopulated, sprawled out on every small section of land able to be built upon, and herded into towering, monochrome complexes. There is no middle-class; a handful of wealthy aristrocrats run the government, and the rest of the human race must resort to factory work and other menial tasks. Any land not being used for habitation is considered a dumping site; seas of waste line shores and mountainsides, and even the streets are littered with remnants of their human populants. Natural food, being mostly unusable, are either synthesized or grown on government-run greeneries. Water, being filled with toxins as well, must be purified before being drunk, a luxury that is rare to some of the poorer folk. That's how I envisioned it, anyway; a world destroyed by waste. If you'd like a visual example, check out some of the scenery from Wall-E's universe, which is probably slightly worse than the world your characters would be dealing with. I expect Xzayler will have some other details to add.
Thanks, ill make those changes. Germany, doesn't exist haha it will be interesting to see what kind of fights we'll be in. I'm excited :D So i really cant be an Elf? :(
Not a true Elf, no. But you can totally be an Elf wannabe, if you'd like.
