I promise I'll do whatever I can to help.” She was rather thankful for his reassuring words and bravery is always something that brought comfort to fearful. Especially a man's comfort [s]ahem[/s]. The walk started out at a decent pace with Harper hacking the path clear for everyone else that followed, but when rain spontaneously began to shower down on them, the trek became much less pleasant. Mud and slush were sucking at her shoes and water seeped right in through her soaks causing her feet to become frigid. The sudden down pour turned the scary forest into a literal nightmare, but eventually, a mansion came into view not too far from where they were. Out of mutual agreement, it was decided that they all spend the night there to rest up and she wasn't one to disagree. Plus, continuing along in this bad weather clearly wasn't an option. It was certainly a bone-rattling sight. The mansion was dark and spooky, bolts of lightning zig-zagging behind it. Every roar of thunder seemed to shake the house which already looked to be on the brink of falling apart. An atmosphere of hesitance settled down over the bunch, but Lesley eagerly broke that when he snatched Inadi and whisked him away towards the entrance. Crowding around the two, Jasper craned her neck to see the big reveal of the home interior. It was quite grand, but at the same time very nerve wracking. The more space there was available, the better chances of her getting lost or being attacked by a monster without having someone by her side. There was no way in heck she was going anywhere by herself in that place. Once everyone was inside, she carefully shut the large door behind her and joined the glowing jar observation. They were highly fascinating indeed, the different colors piqued her interest and the light-bugs mesmerized her. She wondered how an eerie place like this could hold such wonders. Clinking the side of the jar carefully with her finger, it seemed to irritate the bugs within and cause them to shine brighter in annoyance. "Let's split up and scour the rooms. You can go alone or with a partner of your choice. Check for supplies and most importantly clues. Who knows, we may find a map leading to the Stone if we search hard enough." He distributed glow jars to every individual and she stared patiently as people paired up and scattered the area, disappearing into various sections of the home. Approaching Avian in a coy manner, he had been directing others on where to go, but since everyone was split up she decided that being with one of the guides would clearly be one of the best routes. Inching towards him, she then turned around and stood to face the same direction he was looking. "I'll follow you," she said in a formal tone, almost like she was a new recruit in the army. The only thing missing from her comment was a salute.
