Day before invasion 
Roxy stormed out of her fathers office. She couldn't believe that he was doing this to her. How could he expect her to marry that man. Not only was he twice her age but he was cruel. He even to bother how cruel he was to his women. She refused to be a reward. She was a person not a prize. She didn't know how she was going to get out of this but she was going to find a way. Even if it meant going to the authorities. 
Day of the invasion
Roxy couldn't what she was seeing. The sky was filled with alien space ships. The city was nearly destroyed and all Roxy could think was atleast she didn't have to get married today. She gathered as many knives as she could carry and threw a few other supplies and made her way out of town. Maybe if she was in a more rural area she would have a better chance of surviving.
Day 0
She heard rumors that there were cities that had found a way to fight against the invaders. No one knew how long these cities would be able to hold out. But for now they ever standing strong. As long as they were standing strong the people in them stood a chance. So Roxy headed to the nearest city. She would add her meager skills to theirs.
