I'd probably be easier to memorize presidents by associating them with various events that occurred during their presidency. It's somewhat easier to do this with presidents in power during major wars or related events and even easier for presidents in power in the 20th century; I'm sure your parents or even some people here can name every president from the 20th century onward in the correct order just by associating them with key historical events. That said, doing so would probably require you to [I]know[/I] those events, and unless you've taken other relevant history classes prior, that might be somewhat difficult. I never had to memorize dates in high school though. We were always taught that dates were somewhat arbitrary.
