I'd probably be easier to memorize presidents by associating them with various events that occurred during their presidency. It's somewhat easier to do this with presidents in power during major wars or related events and even easier for presidents in power in the 20th century; I'm sure your parents or even some people here can name every president from the 20th century onward in the correct order just by associating them with key historical events. That said, doing so would probably require you to those events, and unless you've taken other relevant history classes prior, that might be somewhat difficult.I never had to memorize dates in high school though. We were always taught that dates were somewhat arbitrary.
Actually, it's a requirement to know a major event ^^ it's getting a bit easier after studying, especially with things like War of 1812 and stuff. But unfortunately, it's not the 20th century, it's from the years 1789-1901 ._. I'm getting there... I think I'm in better shape then before, at the very least. I've decided to memorize the presidents wiith two terms, and the ones that have had shorter terms due to death and other things, which has then made the years in office much more simple to know, because excluding the presidents with two terms and the ones that died, most of them only have one term, it seems.
