Traja stands at six feet even, and has red markings, despite her lack of interaction within the Hierarchy or Palaven. She is also built thinner than most other turians, her biotics actually weakened her natural armor. She is grey under the red markings and one mandible will often move slightly out of sync with the other. The slower mandible is slightly damaged. Traja makes quick movements with her hands, head, and right mandible at all times. Each of her movements are planned, careful, and overkill for the task at hand. Background:
Born in 2148 CE to a high ranking general and engineer, Traja was theorized to be a Biotic due to their extended amount of time spent aboard starships as well as her mother's exposure to the core before she was aware of her pregnancy as well as her insistence to keep trying to fix the engines even while close to her due date. When Traja was born, her mother died due to severe complications. Her father insisted that she be put into Cabal hands, at least until they were certain she was Biotic because, quote, 'I can't look at her without seeing my dead wife'. The Cabal refused every offer made. The high amounts of Element Zero in Traja's system also weakened her natural carapace, which made her all the more vulnerable to the radiation on Palaven and therefore could not return. Her father continued to blame her for her mother's death. Traja, now being raised by medically trained nurses on Altakiril when her father was away and she was still growing to make sure that her health would not be negatively affected by the Element Zero in her system. Most Turians on Altakiril were independent minded and preferred themselves over public service, to which her father opposed loudly every night. Shortly after settling in the colony, however, Traja's father was called to duty, and he never looked back. His ship was intercepted by an assassin who killed her father and the other high ranking generals on board. In a few short days, Traja became an orphan, but an orphan demonstrating Biotic abilities earlier than predicted. So the state decided to give her to a foster home until she was of age, then force her into the military and Cabal. Traja was put into a foster home on the Citadel, and raised by a bitter and cynical Asari named Thantia Nos who taught Traja how to use her biotics, which surfaced quickly. Thantia Nos was also a high class individual who was xenophobic and largely against Turians and Salarians being on the council, however, still ensured that Traja was never 'barefaced' to gain stigma from her adopting a barefaced Turian. Though Traja was raised on Altakiril, Thantia was unaware of how face markings actually worked. Thantia never revealed her reasons for adopting Traja outside of the fact that it made her look good. She often belittled Traja as well as pushed her to limits biotically. When seen in public, Traja had to say that she was the adopted daughter of Thantia, as well as to bow and scrape to people who were 'higher in purpose' than Traja, which was everyone, including beggars that Traja noticed and seemed irritated by. Traja quickly learned how to operate in high society, often putting on a disguise for her hatred of elite or high ranking individuals. She was nine when the Relay 314 Incident occurred, and even though she had no direct ties to the skirmish, she felt the council were going too soft on the new race. Humans were also like a disease to her, how they seemed to spread so quickly through the galaxy as well as take whatever they wanted without asking. This was one of the few things Thantia and herself agreed upon. As she grew, she found herself more and more isolated from the public minded Turians near her, and if she demonstrated her abilities, was immediately called a freak. She prefered taking care of herself and doing things for her sake, not others. So, instead of make connections with other Turians, she found herself talking with older Asari about their experiences. She found the idea of striking out on her own far more interesting than working within an organization who cared very little about you except to keep you inside the line and to get the job done. The idea that she might go to Turian Boot Camp on Palaven was not appealing to her, but quietly hoped that it would be different from the Turians on the Citadel. It was made all the more brutal when, out of curiosity one day, she asked Thantia if she could go to Palaven before she had to go to Boot Camp. Thantia, intoxicated and enraged, told her that she was a, quote, 'mutant that was too weak to stand the radiation and should have died before they handed her to me'. Once she reached fifteen, she was ordered to 'Boot Camp' like most Turians, however due to her weakened external 'shell', she could not return to Palaven to train. Since she had shown incredible Biotic potential and her armor lacked the needed thickness to train on Palaven itself, she was trained in an isolated Cabal Boot Camp under Nixvir Alantos. To say that they had a decent relationship would be a lie. Traja often undermined her superior officer every chance she got; taking his targets out before he could, going the least amount of effort possible when cleaning weapons while making sure they were still in good shape, or simply going out after curfew. Traja enjoyed pushing his buttons while still remaining in control of her own destiny. Nixvir admired her spirit, but was irritated at her lack of public service as well as her xenophobic tendencies towards humans, asari, and krogan. As a result of her wanton behavior, she was often punished. Though she had been sent to a colony on Oma Ker for Boot Camp, she still found herself isolated and teased by fellow Turians. She requested to be transferred many times to a Cabal boot camp, but was turned down every time. So she was isolated from the camp for earlier morning drills, biotic 'strength testing', and many other nonsensical programs. After a while, Traja started taking the extra training as 'challenges' and no longer lashed out, which had been the reaction that they had wanted to use to kick her from the program. She became withdrawn, sullen, and lethargic during this time. At twenty years old, Traja's training had been completed, with extra time for being rebllious, she was informed that she'd be joining the Cabals. While they were wary of her Xenophobic tendencies, her biotic power and now broken pride would serve her well in the Cabal. She would be allowed in, but only on a probationary status, and if she stepped out line, she would be Court Martialed. Traja was informed by her Drill Instructor, Nixvir, that she would meet the Cabal on the Citadel, where it would be inconspicuous for Turians to be talking as well as armed. They would later debate if she was ready to become a full Cabal. However, she was on a tight leash, and any outside actions would be reprimanded through a Court Martial with possible discharge and execution on the line. As it was, Traja held no interest in joining the Turian Cabal after seeing how her DI treated her as well as expecting civil service after her upbringing taught her not to rely on anyone, and her inherent distrust of high ranking officials who she knew would be prejudiced because of her biotics would only serve to irritate her further. So she decided very quickly that she would strike out on her own, and see how mercenary work would compare to the Cabals before the rest of the Cabals showed up to force her into more isolation and training. She's never met the Cabals since. She quickly joined a small, unnamed mercenary band where she found the life to her liking, but decided to go freelance on Omega after nearly being stabbed in the back by one of her cohorts. Traja is implicated for the murder of a small band of mercenaries shortly after her departure from the group. She found herself doing every odd job she could scrape by on, from being a bodyguard to an assassin for higher ranked mercenaries, which she secretly despised. She raised her rates slowly as her reputation went up, until she no longer needed to raise her rates or reputation any higher. She still did the jobs that came her way, often passing over easy jobs or 'boring' jobs for challenging or 'interesting' ones. She often traveled around the galaxy due to her work, but mostly stayed on Omega. She mostly relied on other people for ships to elsewhere for other jobs, but had a smaller civilian ship she used to jump around for a single 'vacation'. This 'vacation' was to briefly visit her parent's graves. Her reputation had a downside as well. Rebekha Siame decided to try and take Traja out as a sign to the Terminus Systems and try to nullify resistance. Since Traja had a high bounty from the Turian Hierarchy for Desertion, it was decided to try and take her down alive first. Traja was hired by a small unknown group to take out a target for them, but it was soon made clear that it was trap set by none other than Siame Industries. The ambush was fierce and unrelenting. Unfortunately for Rebekha Siame, Traja managed to escape the ambush, severely wounded and sincerely pissed off. Traja quickly forced a human doctor in a nearby system to patch her up, but vowed revenge the entire time. Traja used her contacts to discover anything about Siame to destroy the Asari who had tried to kill her. When that yielded very little, Traja discovered that a small group of mercenaries were meeting up on Cartagena Station, to try and get payback at Siame. Traja decided that she would join in, anything to get back at Siame for damaging her pride and reputation.
Equipment: Elanus Risk Control Services M-9 Tempest Ariake Technologies M-23 Katana Armor is medium Colossus Armor that has seen a lot of action.
