There was a sound, and Sylvia woke lethargically, still slightly intoxicated. She wandered through the room for a few seconds, trying to discern the origin of the noise. Soon, she figured out what it was. Who the hell plays the piano at whatever-the-fuck-it-is o'clock in the morning? Eyes still closed, Sylvia wandered through the dorm, finally reaching the balcony before opening her eyes. For a moment, everything was blurred. When her eyes cleared, she saw the night city, a beautiful skyline with parks scattered about. It looked like there was even some sort of hydroponic farm a while off. But she was still exhausted, and with a few muttered obscenities started back to bed. Habitually, she stopped and headed for the door, making sure that it was locked. It wasn't, and she quickly made it so. She then went over to the couch, standing to see Gavin for a moment. There was a moment of serenity as she thought to herself before heading back to bed.
