I agree that the lyrics fit well.
Sadly, I can't say I feel the same way about the music itself... It feels a bit too upbeat and fast-paced/peppy(?) for a Horror Anime. :P

Then again, I'm a sucker for the OPs of things like Elfen Lied, Gokoku no Brynhildr, Corpse Party, Higurashi, etc.
