The only good Larfleeze was the Agent Orange arc that introduced the character in the last volume of Green Lantern pre-New52. Around the later 30-something issue of the series, it was a three part arc that made him fearsome and before everyone knew the orange entity was in his power battery they knew his power levels were off the charts. If not for Hal Jordan wielding a blue ring Larfleeze just had to have, and the sudden appearance of Star Sapphires now wielding rings as well... Larfleeze would've killed himself an Earth Lantern.
