Appearance: Johann is Caucasian. He looks like a normal 50 years old man. He has black, short hair, brown eyes and a friendly smile. He used to be a farmer and to do a lot of physical work, so he strong and in a good shape.

Gender: Male

Personality: Johann loves sarcasm and black humour. He prefers to do things on his own but has noticed that quite often it doesn’t work. He is loyal to laws and rules and thinks that if all people followed them, the world would be much better place. Johann doesn’t really know why he is still living but he had noticed that helping people makes him feel something, so that’s what he is doing. Johann is a Lutheran Christian who goes conscientiously to church every Sunday but doesn’t really know what God means to him.

Biography: Johann was born in 1848 in Estonia, which was then part of the Russian Empire. He was the third son of a poor farmer. The family had many children even though years of famine and plagues caused the Grim Reaper to visit every now and then and to take away babes. In 1867-1868 there was a really great famine and in December 67, Johann’s father passed away. A plague had been too much for a man who was already weakened by hunger. Johann used his inheritance to leave the poor farm and travelled to USA in search of a better life.

 In USA Johann managed to gain some land and start farming there. He married a German woman pretty soon after his arrival. It was a marriage of convenience, especially for the woman, but they were actually happy together and started to really love each other. They had five children before she passed away due illness. In 1893 all of them had finally reached adulthood. Johann decided that he needed some change. The life had started to seem dull and he wasn’t exactly sure why he even bothered to live anymore.
 
One day he ended up taking part in a more or less suicidal mission to kill a horde of zombies, which was threatening a town in New Mexico, because it was well paid. Somehow the mission succeeded, likely because of the sheer luck. The townspeople were overjoyed. Seeing that made Johann feel like there was something worth of living in the world. He started to prey supernatural creatures which were threatening people.

Abilities/Disadvantages: Johann has a lot of sheer power and strength but lacks experience. He is fearless, to the point it may be called foolhardiness. Johann has a good aim and is also great in sneak attacks but isn’t the very best when it comes to close combat.
