	Roku was born on Kahje in the year 2143 CE. From the time he was born he was groomed to be a political assassin for key hanar representatives on the Citadel, since he was born with biotic abilities. For the better half of his childhood he was trained by the very best that the hanar could buy; combat training from asari commandos and turian soldiers, schooling and the latest Bio-Amp and Omni-tool developed by salarians, and in-depth knowledge of the ins and outs of the galactic economy by volus traders. By the time he reached the age of eighteen Roku had become a well oiled tool for the hanar to use. 

On the day after he turned eighteen he was immediately sent to the Citadel where he quickly began carrying out orders of major hanar members, protecting them at key conferences and speaking arrangements, silently eliminating threats to hanar legislature, even taking part in coups on and off the Citadel. For five years Roku lived the life of a dutiful drell living up to his end of the Compact serving the needs of the hanar and for those few years he was happy. One day while taking a routine assassination of a local "street-gang" leader under the control of a volus councilman, Roku walked into a trap which was designed to be the death of him. Unaware that the councilman had hired a group of krogan mercenaries who's soul purpose was to eliminate Roku.

Roku barely escaped having to rely on very taxing biotics which brought a great deal attention to himself which brought C-SEC into a full fledged investigation into the activities of the hanar council-members that employed Roku. When he returned to his apartment at the Citadel a message was waiting for him informing him that he was no longer in the employ of the hanar government and that he was to return all of his equipment including his Omni-tool and Bio-amp and that failure to comply would bring the fullest diplomatic and criminal sanctions upon him. 

Now facing something that he had never had to face before, Roku quickly boarded a ship and left the Citadel in search of a life beyond that which had been laid out for him. Roku soon found his way to Omega and into the employ of Aria as a low level enforcer, however he quickly rose through the ranks as he became a better assassin. Over the next six years as he more and more proficient in his craft and he actually began earning his own money through Aria and her contacts Roku began to revel in the life of an assassin for hire and soon after his thirtieth birthday Roku disappeared from Aria's radar.

Soon after tales began to surface around of a mysterious group of assassins that were taking the underworld of Omega one crimelord at a time. This group with no name and led by a shadowy figure who's only name was Avatar began working their way up the ranks of Omega, although it wasn't until one of Aria's lieutenants showed up dead at her doorstep that she began to take notice. For four and a half years Avatar and Aria traded kills which left the streets of Omega in a state of constant war. With his confidence, as well as his arrogance, at an all time high Roku gathered his best combatants and stormed Afterlife in the hopes to finally put an end to Aria's reign. As Roku and Aria squared off it was clear that Roku was no match and was quickly subdued, but before Aria could finish Roku off he escaped and quickly made it off world.
Roku was left beaten and bruised charted a course to the last place he could think that would harbor someone with his set of skills, Cartagena Station, where he has spent the last six months. While his contacts are not as encompassing as they were on Omega, Roku has been able to scrounge up a few contacts although he has not gone back into assassinations.
