ooc: Like I said I'm quite out of practice, but hopefully this will do. Name: Jack Nelson Nickname(s): Jay Gender: Male Age: Eighteen 18 Nationality: American Appearance: Jack has dull hazel eyes and a little longer than shoulder length glossy black hair which is usually held out of his face with a bandana. His ears are gauged to a 0 with Punisher scull gauges, and he has his eyebrow pierced with a hoop. His face usually falls in a scowl, but not because he's always angry, it's just how his face naturally rests. He is 6'3” and a little on the chubby side, not obese but could definitely lose a few pounds and still be alright, fairly muscular but no body builder. He usually wears band tees, and ripped jeans, if it's cold enough he will wear his leather jacket. No matter the weather he wears black steel toed boots. Personality: Jack is your typical “misunderstood” teenager/young adult. Fairly easy-going, but depending on the surrounding circumstances can be quick to anger. He usually quite quiet unless he feels he has something to contribute, and if that's the case he doesn't like to be ignored. He's the kind of guy who will take a step back and look at all options before jumping into anything. He doesn't deal well with people he doesn't feel are worth his time or are, in his opinion, annoying. He's just as happy being alone as he his with a group of people and feels that sometimes it's better that way. Biography: Jack grew up in a single parent home, his father left when he was still an infant and he never even met him. Since his mother was a single parent she was hardly ever around due to having to work two sometimes three jobs just to keep up with the bills. This caused Jack to spend a lot of his time with his grandparents growing up, who weren't really able to handle taking care of another child, so he's used to fending for himself. When he turned thirteen he completely quit going to his grandparents and just started roaming the streets after school, if he even went. He's actually quite a smart guy especially when it comes to mathematics and sciences, even if he's grades never reflected that. He isn't sure what the future holds for him, he likes to take life one day at a time. Other: He doesn't belong to any groups or organizations. When he was younger his grandfather would take him to his hunting camp and taught him how to handle guns, mostly hunting rifles and shotguns, with the occasional revolver. Back home he has a collection of knifes and swords, but has never had the occasion to really use them.
