Her hair is long, reaching her mid-back, and appears to be ink black in color, while her eye is a bright blue. Her glass eye is apparently incorrect, as it was colored green, but since she doesn't like showing it off so there is no way to confirm this. Rather curvy, Tsukimi hates to think about her weight, but appreciates the roundness it adds to her once hallow face. Her skin is fair and easily tanned. Normally likes to wear dresses and skirts.[/i] Name: Iki Tsukimi Age: Sixteen Grade: Second year Disability: Anophthalmia and Anxiety (absence of one or both eyes, in this case, Tsukimi is missing her right eye) Personality: Tsukimi is best described as bright yet very troubled. She is generally quiet in a public setting out of fear of people finding her disorder to be hideous. Tries her best to appear normal, often covering her disability with plain eye patches as not to have people see her "mutation" as she calls it. Very studious, if not out and about she is someplace sunny, reading book after book after book with not much care about anything going on around her. When she is painting, Tsukimi gets a very concentrated look in her eye, and will more times then not ignore anyone who tries to talk to her. Open minded and stubborn, Tsukimi isn't afraid to speak up for her rights and the rights if others if she needs too, and will fight back if challenged. Proud, she refuses to cry or complain to anyone but herself, and if someone happens to see her shed a tear she will instantly turn to that person and instruct them to: "Forget that! I don't cry!". But what she does best is smile. Tsukimi, no matter what, will always try to keep smiling, even during one of her emotional scenes, just to make sure that no one feels uncomfortable around her. However, her normally kind and cheery demeanor can fade instantly, especially if she is seen with out an eye patch or if it is dreary outside. Anxiety attacks are rare but intense, and Tsukimi absolutely hates to have people see her in such a weak state, which means that the attacks will only grow if seen. Rainy days are especially tough for her, and during days like this Tsukimi will refuse to leave her room, not even for classes. Background: Surprisingly, Tsukimi was born as a healthy child, with two eyes. Her family was large, consisting of three older siblings who loved her dearly, and a very supportive set of parents, and they didn't expect anything serious to happen to their cheery child. However, during a rainy day on Tsukimi's fifth birthday she suddenly lost vision in her right eye. After being rushed to the doctors and waiting for a long two hours, they explained that Tsukimi had a disorder called Degenerative Anophthalmia, an illness that would slowly take away Tsukimi's eye. Needless to say, they were shocked. They took her home, prepared her with an eye patch and a promise that they'd get her a new eye, but Tsukimi herself didn't even know what was going on. Until she had her eye removed. After that Tsukimi was ignored by her peers in school, and the ever looming fear of losing her other eye began to gleam brightly within her family. She gained slight anxiety, and grew to hate rainy days because they reminded her of the first time she lost her eye sight. The entire Iki family expected her to simply continue her life of being ignored in school and babied at home, until they found a solution. Yamaku High. A school for the physically challenged. It was perfect; Tsukmi could finally make friends with problems similar to her's, but Tsukimi wasn't so pleased. Oddly enough, she enjoyed her silent life, but after her parents and brothers and sisters insisting on it, saying it'll help with all her problems, she finally caved. Other Info: - Has a glass eye, but it is normally covered by a white medical eye-patch or, if she is feeling a bit fancier, a silken red sash that she wraps around her head. - A skilled artist, Tsukimi can normally be found painting in the art room. - During rainy days, Tsukimi will refuse to leave her dorm room, and at times even speak. She constantly looks in the mirror to check on her remaining eye as well. - Easily tires, especially if she runs for too long. - Has trouble reading things that are far away. [/center]
