Dresden grinned still, a cocky, assured thing, and leaned back against a wall, dropping the sack to her feet. She parted her mouth after a moment, as though to offer a comment, but Rennac returned soon enough. She didn't take the hand--let Jackdaw have it, and if he kept it up after, that was his own thing. She pulled a cord out of her pocket, popping a bud into one ear. Let everybody else handle the newbie--not her department. She didn't need to worry much, though--quick enough, big fluff of fur with a canine skull-face and glowing eyes bounded into the way, dropped onto all fours before smoothly bouncing onto his hind legs as he reached the group. "Heeeeyyyy guys," he greeted chipperly, eyes bright, grin like he was laughing at your own expense. Not really his fault though, skulls just look like that. One paw waved up, claws flashing in a greeting. "How'd everybody's shore leave go? Didn't see much a'ya. Well, most a'ya."
