Yua was embarrassed at this point and a deep red entered her cheeks as she looked to the seat in front of her to avoid the eyes of the girl she accidentally made fun of. She shook her head and a frown crossed her face before she had a chance to speak up.
“Well... I-i didn't mean it as a bad thing. I mean, I know not all of us have had the privileges that I've had as I’ve grown up.” she looked back at the girl with the blush still bright on her cheeks and tried to hold eye contact with the weird cat-girl. The girl had asked her if she lived in that town they just left and a small smile crossed her face.
“Well lived there I guess would be correct, and then again it wouldn't be. You see, I have moved around a lot my entire life as my mother went from town to town on business. I've “lived” in a lot of places, but I’ve never really had a place to call my own.” her smile waned she looked to the window beyond the girl and stared out it.
“We moved there rather recently. But now I get to go to this school with others like me.” her smile came back to her lips as she brought her eyes back to the girl. She touched her hair again, worried that the stands where out of place once more. She smoothed it over a little before she brought her hands to her lap and crossed them over one another. The light changed in the tunnel as the driver spoke and her eyes grew wide in wonder. Her lips let out a gasp of excitement as the colors passed over her eyes and she nearly jumped towards the cat-girl and to the window to look at it closely.
“Oh wow! Look Ellie, look! We must be close now!” the words fell from her lips as quick as lightning. Her knees where on the seat and her hands where pressed against the glass. She was nearly across the other girls lap, thought at this point she had nearly forgotten herself as she watched the lights go by.
