Jackdaw was content to let Dresden deal with Rennac. She was a bit dismayed to hear the wolfen would be joining on the ground team, but then again she was fairly sure the guy was going to get himself killed. Not that she was going to try and usher in that possibility, she wasn't a monster, she just had a low tolerance for his type. 

She strolled back over near Varus, hoping to hurry out the remaining time. She nudged his side with her foot, looking out to the hangar. "Glad to see you didn't lose the ship while we were away," she said. "And you're in one piece, look who's all responsible."

Perhaps she and the captain weren't "best friends", but out of the whole crew, he was perhaps the easiest to be around next to Teeth. He fit the role well, struck her as the "leader" type. At the very least, he was respectable, and that was the most important thing.
