I do feel that a lot of Naruto RPs neglect the political intrigue of certain actions and non-actions. A lot of individuals' backstories and actions would have ripple effects on the villages that they're associated with, but a lot of people don't particularly like that side of things and would rather engage directly in the combat. In that vein, Jinchuuriki especially have their political intrigue underplayed - and depending on the aptitude of the characters that have positions of power in their village, their lives can be made significantly easier or significantly harder. I personally think that the political intrigue is by far the most interesting part of a Naruto roleplay as combat just doesn't tend to do it for me, and I do wish that people would understand its influence and importance and embrace it more openly. :c
