As Nai continued to struggle with the guards, Sariah could be seen cowering in the corner of her cage, forcing her palms onto her little ears in an attempt to block out the noise. Even with her hands covering them, she could still hear the cage clanging and the footsteps of the guards. A few moments after the noises were over, Sariah lowered her hands and leaned her back against the cage, sighing a sigh of relief. Sariah wiped a few tears off her eyes with her sleeve. She tried to take a quick glance at the newcomer, turning another way whenever Nai would try to return the look. The girl was certainly upbeat for someone who was just imprisoned for the rest of her life. Was she planning something to escape, or just trying to keep the mood up? Whatever the case, Sariah didn't want to spent any effort meeting her. Last time she did, they took him away and he was never seen again. It wasn't something she'd want to experience again.
