A creeping blush seeped onto Ariel's face, and she couldn't help but stiffen when she felt Zendra trace her foot. This new confidence...it was almost like a different aura. They had only met just a day before, and yet so much and changed? No. This was definitely a different girl than the one she had saved earlier. She was no longer timid. No longer scared. Independent and maybe...dominating?

It had to be that demon's work. Regardless....

"No," she answered to Zendra's question. "Not often...you're the first human I've ever bothered with..." Feeling Zendra hold her hand tightly, she closed her eyes and began nudging it affectionately.

"You have it wrong," Ariel murmured as she began to softly kiss the hand before her. "I'm just your protector...I belong to you....I'll love for you....hehe....kill for you...do what it takes...to make you happy...you misunderstand Zendra. I am in your power."

She suddenly gripped a finger in her mouth, licking and playing at it with her teeth. "Yes...I'll kill anyone who gets in my way...your way...I won't hesitate to kill anyone! That includes your loved ones of course..." Her red eyes glanced over and focused on the family pictures assorted neatly.

"Just say it my beloved! Give me the word and I will slaughter them all! I...I'll be the one lover for you...I'm yours..."

Zendra blushed at Ariel's confession of killing anyone she asked, "I don't know what you do to me Ariel, but I do not feel like I am useless or invisible since this morning, its like that confidence and swagger you have is attached to me" she smiled taking another drink from her cup even though she was had all this confidence she felt submissive to Ariel but also had this hold on Ariel as much as much as she had one on Zendra that feeling she enjoyed.

soon time passed and Zendra finished her meal and drink, she was just a small bit light headed by the wine but did not really show it, "you are all I need Ariel..." she leaned in close and kissed Ariel on the lips softly enjoying the taste of her angel. "we belong to each other I would do anything you asked just as you say you would do what I ask"

Ariel narrowed her eyes into slits as she embraced the kiss. "...anything?" Breaking away, Ariel flashed her an innocent smile. One filled with sympathy and...regret? Walking over to what she assumed was the utsensils cabinet, she groped around the drawer until finally producing that which she sought.

A fresh and polished knife. It was one of those big butcher ones too. Letting Zendra stare at it for a while, Ariel took a step forward. As if time had slowed down, she was now standing right next to Zendra, gripping the knife tightly in her palm.

"Zendra, dear. There's sometime....wrong. Something inside of you." She narrowed her gaze as she looked down at the other girl's abdomen area. "Something...it came and spoke to me. During the incident at school. I...I think it was that thing....that stopped my powers...."

She gently lowered Zendra over the table and leaned on too, her left hand holding her lover's wrist together. "Please don't struggle. I don't know if whatever's inside you is hostile or not. But.....I won't let or hurt you! I won't let that other you....take my Zendra away!"

A mad gleam reflected off her crimson eye and she giggles darkly. "Don't move sweety....it'll just take a little sting...I'll fix you up and take care of you~"

Panic was filling in Zendra's eyes and she watched Ariel produce the knife "wha...what are you talking about?" the panic turned to pure fear as Ariel help her down, with only one hand Zendra was powerless to move against the grip of the angel of death "ARIEL PLEASE DON'T IM SCARED!" she yelled out twisting herself as she was held tears starting to form at her eyes "there nothing inside me....please please please...."

she had no idea what Ariel was talking about it sounded so unreal, but thats what Zendra's day as been since she meet Ariel unreal "I swear to you I dont have anything inside me...I WOULD KNOW!" she was afraid, crying and struggling when her eyes caught Ariel's "please don't kill me...." Zendra said in a whisper tears rolling down her cheeks as she stopped struggling knowing she has no way of saving herself if Ariel was going to kill her.

Ariel paused and sighed to herself. "Honey, I'm not gonna kill you. Just cut you open and see what's inside, ok?" She leaned down to whisper in Zendra's ear. "Besides, it's not your time anyway. I'm Death, remember? You won't did by my hand....although it will probably hurt. A lot. Probably more than that."

She gave a small kiss to Zendra's cheek before backing off. "But don't worry! Once I take this thing out of you, I'll put you back together, heheh." Cradling the other girl's head gently, Ariel began softly brushing her hair between her fingers. "Shh....just close your eyes....I'll even hold your hand if you want.....heheh."

Gripping the knife again, she slowly pierced the flesh at the abdomen, producing a fresh drop of blood.

"Where are you!" Her voice was filled with venom, no longer in a loving tone.

"Show yourself demon! How....how dare you make me hurt my beloved Zendra like this!" She plunged the knife just a little deeper, inch at a time.

"Answer me!"

Zendra let out a yelp when the knife cut her as the knife ate into her skin Zendra continue to cry as she watched Ariel stab more and more soon, then Zendra's hands got hotter and hotter and her brown eyes rolled back inside her her head replaced by bright yellow eyes, then her hair looked to catch on fire and laying on the table under Ariel was no longer Zendra but the same being who came out earlier.

Looking down at the knife and then to Ariel "were you planning on carving me out..like I was a turkey?" its voice was calm and with a smirk allowed Ariel to take control as she laid under her "why expose my existence unless....oh i get it angel...you all ready tire of Zendra and wish to keep the flesh but not the mind hmmmm?" with that the first 2 buttons on the top she was wearing popped off showing off the cleavage her and Zendra shared.

with a lick of the lips she watched Ariel "you woke me up for a reason....what is that reason angel?"

"Don't...don't speak as if you and Zendra are one and the same!" Ariel held the knife to this new creature's throat, her gaze trying to avoid the demon's obvious cleavage. "You....you messed with my powers! With my kill! My prey! I would never tire of Zendra! I serve her eternally! But....she's not pure. She won't be....with you living in her."

Pressing the knife closer to her throat, Ariel's red eyes were filled with rage and insanity. "I summoned you to kill you. Then Zendra won't suffer because of you. But before I do, I want to know everything. Why are you here? Why are you residing in my beloved Zendra?"

Another giggle escaped her lips, harsh and uncaring. "Really, I shouldn't care, but you've actually gone and peaked Death's interest. I suppose I should reward you by at least listening to your pathetic tale."

The knife was held at bay, ready to strike down if anything happened. "Now tell me....why do you corrupt my innocent Zendra?"

The fire haired female who laid under Ariel feigned fear but none was there in her eyes then she smiled "my name is Zandrea....Ive been apart of Zendra since she was born, attached to her very soul when she was brought into this world..." she smirked feeling the kiss of the knife to her throat "I told you when I first showed you....zendra and I are two sides of the same coin. she is my vessel...in a way....her and I are closer then you could ever hope to be with her" the sly smile widened as she continued to look at Ariel.

"I was her only friend...I was the fire that made her the alpha female when she was younger...then her grandmother found out and....sealed me away, deep deep deep inside, locked away only to catch moments, moments of Zendra being turned week....a door mat....but no longer, she unknowingly freed me to save you breaking those seals her grandmother thought would hold, and they did until Zendra felt like she was going to loose everything"

Zandrea lifted herself abit the knife pressing more into the skin drips of blood welling up at the edge "but since Ive been awake inside that fire burns again, you see it dont you angel...she radiates confidence now, thats me....the fire of passion she shows you....thats me....laying here at your blade...thats...US, you can have your mortal paramore, love her...use her...it matters not to me, as long as I stay with in her I pose no harm to you..."

"....closer....then I could ever hope to be?"

Ariel struggled not to gut the demon right then and there, instead choosing to listen to the explanations. Gritting her teeth, she put the knife down before the physical shell of Zendra could damage herself even further. So then....there was no getting rid of this thing then? Ariel was stuck with it.

A flash of fear crossed her mind. Fear that if she got rid of the apparition, the other Zendra would perish as well. Her Zendra. Accepting this defeat for now, Ariel relased herself from Zendra's body and glared at the demon.

"Fine. I don't care if you're a threat to me. But don't you dare lay harm to the other half." She didn't know why, but....something about this demonic Zendra bothered her. The Angel couldn't quite place it.

Maybe it was the shift of power or equal dominance coming off both their souls. Or maybe it was just because the demon reminded her too much of herself.

Zandrea sat up and rubbed at her neck "hurting poor Zendra is hurting myself, and I love me, so your pet's body is safe...her mind...could be a different matter" a wicked sickening smile crossed her face "When I come out to play Zendra goes away, tucked away in a safe spot up here" she points to her head "unlike her...I can change the décor of her room up there, but I wish not to be the other woman, so lets live and let live...." she extended her hand out "a handshake will bind the truce and bind me to the truce unless broken"

Zandrea and Zendra they now shared the same body but it seemed like Zandrea had the bigger bedroom, and did not hide that she knew at least some of the power she had, "now I am sure you wish to have your pet back...I will go home, and I will see you later angel..." the cocky arrogant smile crossed her face again as the fire like hair burnt out, her skin changed back to the milky white it was from the hot red, and her eyes browned, then Zendra was back, Zandrea no long in control.

Zendra laid there on the table in the fetal position "wh...where am..." she hesitated to sit up, the last thing she remembered was staring down Ariel's blade

Ariel reluctantly shook Zendrea's hand before the demon dissolved back into their own mins frame. Soon, the familiar form Zendra appeared once more. Apparently she didn't remember anything, and it looked like it would stay that way for a while.

The angel walked over to the sink to deposit and rinse the bloodied knife before returning to Zendra with a wet cloth. She began to methodically clean bother her neck and abdomen wound gingerly so as not to avoid any more blood flow.

"....nothing," Ariel finally answered quietly. "Nothing happened. You should probably rest for a bit."

Zendra watched as Ariel cleaned her "you were right weren't you?" she put together this time "Ariel what's wrong? What is it that made you cut me?" she asked seeing the blood cleaned away knowing that the blood loss was Ariel's doing, she continued to watch thinking of what happened trying to remember "I remember laying here on the table...then opening my eyes and I was in a bed room...the door was locked and no one could hear me...then I was back here"

Zendra reached for Ariel's hand "please what is wrong with me?"

Ariel looked at the hand clutching hers before sighing. "You....I think you have a demon inside you. Kinda like a split personality. Basically, when she comes out, you get pushed back into your mind. I think the bedroom is where you stay until you take control again."

Finishing up cleaning her, Ariel took the bloodied cloth and carefully deposited it in the trash can. It would only cause problems if her parents saw a random cloth with dried blood sitting around. That would cause unneeded attention.

Going back to Zendra, Ariel leaned over the girl and rested her head over Zendra's abdomen. "We made a pact. Or something like that. Basically that....other you is here to stay. Saying that she was here for you before. That she was closer.....and that you apparently released her when you saved me."

The angel's eyes became heavy, eventually closing shut. "How.....how am I supposed to protect you from yourself? Sorry....that I caused this," she murmured before drifting off to sleep.

Unfortunately, she was right on top on Zendra, causing more problems. What if her parents walked in and saw this? What would they think?

Zendra took everything she was told and processed it "a demon?" she asked "why is there a demon...." before she could finish her thought Ariel fell asleep on top of her "Ariel?" she lightly asked before sitting up holding Ariel in her arms abit and whispered into her angel's ear as she slept "I will protect you aswell....any much as any mortal can" she was able to get Ariel off of her and carry her abit awkwardly but was able to get her into Zendra's room and placing her down on the bed and laying down next to her. "I am yours as you are mine...." she kissed Ariel softly on the forehead and watched her sleep "it does not matter if what ever is inside me was here first, or if it stays inside my soul...you...you are inside my heart and will be with me last" she smiled to herself and closed her eyes aswell soon drifting off to sleep with Ariel next to her.

As it turned out, it as a Friday afternoon on this day. Reports were apparently running rampant about two missing girls who didn't show up at their homes after school, and so police were rapidly searching for them. Tina and Meagen. So they were dead after all. A pity.

When Zendra's parents heard about this and the fact that Zendra was nowhere to be found at school, each of them immediately canceled their appointments to rush back home. As such, it was of great relief when they found their daughter sleeping peacefully in her room safe and sound.

It was then they noticed the sleeping form of Ariel right next to her. Honestly, they were too relieved to worry about the fact that Zendra had basically skipped the rest of school. Her mother went down to prepare some snacks; after all, it was only about 5:00.

Zendra's father walked up to his daughter and gently shook her shoulder to wake her up. "Honey? We're home now. Wake up sweety. Does your friend want any snacks? Mom's baking cookies."

Ariel remained oblivious, still in her black dress and breathing slowly in sleep.

Zendra had no idea she even fell asleep when she woke up looking around in a daze "dad?" she asked rubbing at her eyes fixing her glasses that slide down her face "when did you guys get home?" she sat up from the bed and then realized Ariel was sleeping next to her, Zendra smiled "We had a rough day today, I will be down soon okay" she laid back down staring up at the ceiling thinking about what Ariel said "a demon....why would a demon be inside me?" she thought before looking back over to Ariel.

then her mind went from demons to how beautiful her sleeping angel was and then if having a demon inside her was the way she could protect Ariel, she would gladly keep it inside.

"Sure thing honey. Don't forget to introduce us to your new friend, ok?" Zendra's father didn't mind that a complete stranger was sleeping in his daughter's bed. Just the fact that she even had a friend was enough to make him happy. As he exited the room to walk downstairs, Ariel began to stir.

Blinking awake, the angel rubbed at her crimson eyes before looking up at her beloved. "How....when did I...?" She sat up slightly to take in her surroundings. She was asleep when Zendra brought her here, so it was only natural to be surprised.

"Did....did you watch over me?" The thought was touching to say the least, even if it did make her turn away in shame. "Idiot. I'm the one who supposed to watch over you..." she muttered meekly.

"Oh! That reminds me!" She turned back to Zendra with a wide grin on her face, eyes shining. "Those two harpies from before? I just sensed their life force slip away. They're dead! I killed them after all!"

Well, not really something to celebrate, at least by normal standards. But then, why couldn't she kill them on instant contact?

she gave Ariel a kiss on the lips and smiled "I guess I fell asleep aswell, my dad woke me up when they got home" she nuzzled up her Ariel and closed her eyes "plus you must of been really tired...you fell asleep on top of me in the kitchen, although you on top is pretty much how I expect it" she gave a soft laugh, the heard the news of Tina and Megan "they are gone for good?" she asked looking at her love relief reflecting in her eyes, they would bother her no more.

"Im going to have to repay you...in any way you wish my angel" she nuzzled back up to her enjoying her sent "my mom and dad are down stairs, I guess my mom is baking some stuff...its always really good, but I am content with laying here with you"

"Laying here...with just little old me, eh?" Ariel shifted around until she was lying on top of Zendra, pinning her arms down. The Angel of Death grinned hungrily at her lover, a gleam of lust and want reflected in her crimson eyes. "You know, I always get a bit more excited once someone dies...sometimes I just can't control myself..."

Ariel leaned down closer, breathing into Zendra's ear gently. "You said I was on top of you? Yes...I think I like being the one on top....just like this..." She bent down and began nibbling on Zendra's ear more playfully now, while her fingers began gently rubbing the other girl's cheek.

"You like this," she whispered. "I know you do...you're so lewd for your angel Zendra~ I want to hear your cute sounds...your cries and soft whimpers....do that now for your angel."

she gave a light moan as Ariel got on top and touched her face and nibbled on her ear, Zendra's eyes closed and she bit her lower lip feeling Ariel's mouth on her skin "me...lewd?" she asked innocently giving soft low moans every time she left Ariel touch her. she enjoyed the feeling right now, the feeling of being pinned down "I would enjoy anything my angel did to and for me, or had me do to her and for her"

Zendra kept looking at Ariel from the bottom where they were, Ariel possessing all the power right now and Zendra giving all it to her "what else does my angel want from me?"
