The combination of the two made her stomach lurch in disgust. What kept her from retching out was Jeremy's hate filled shout. Focusing her effort once more, she attempted to force Jeremy's attention at the one thing that she knew she won't need much to make him focus regardless of what happened, his protector's fallen body. She focused on the obvious grief he felt and tried to bring it to the surface and more of a priority than the rage and thirst for revenge over the Blades. On top of that, she preyed on his, if she read it right, hope that the aasimar might still survive, she couldn't do much, but a slight deception was something she could do, especially if it was a slight one, such as making him think that the aasimar twitch. Hopefully it would prevent him from finishing his spell, if not, well, fuck him anyway and she could only hope it didn't have large enough range to affect her.
