I had no intent of hitting you, so I can't let you die... you may want to see a good doctor after the main effect wears off..." 

The Captains Vision would keep clouding and get glimpses of the unspeakable acts that made Suzi, since it wasn't full power, and not meant for said Captain it only came in waves, not the whole vision... and not the full effect... it was still Traumatic. The Spirit was whimpering in pain, as it got the brunt of the attack... the sword would crack and heal then crack more and heal, in waves too...
