I don't even think that Prussia or the United States knows about that treaty to begin with. That and he kind of openly discussed where he'd be sending supplies to help the United States...

Ah, well, the point was that only the biggest, baddest navies in the world have them right now.

Kho's post was really well written. Good job, though, isn't the city still called Constantinople? I thought the Turks didn't change the name until the 20th century. Also, we're still Austria, not Austria-Hungary. The latter didn't emerge for another ten years. Good post, though, like I said. I look forward to seeing what becomes of this.

Mexico, Peru, and Argentina seem like interesting countries since we already have two Latin America nations. You could try to modernize Korea before Japan gets to you, though, that sounds somewhat risky and would be dependent on both China and Japan.

I tried that in the last WiR. Didn't go that well. Hmm, Siam maybe? Is that a bit too random? I was thinking that I could maybe try to re-establish the parent-child state relation that Siam had with the Southeastern countries several decades ago.

Edit: Plus, Korea is a bit too minor to really have any influence in this RP.

I do not worry if the people know of the location of the supplies as none of my enemies have a large Pacific fleet aside from those stationed in the Indian sea which are too far to be seen as a huge threat to the convoys

Depends on China and Japan, really. We're right before the Meiji Restoration, so if you followed the same path, you could conceivably turn Korea into a regional power and intervene in, say, the Boxer Rebellion, as well as lay claim to some Pacific islands.

Sweden or Spain also work too. Sweden because you can conceivably unify Scandinavia if something bad happens to Denmark and Spain because. well, it's Spain.

I thought about all those, but I'm not too familiar with the history of the Scandinavian nations or the low lands either. Spain... is just Spain. No thanks. I think Siam. Maybe Ethiopia? I enjoy playing the underdogs. Those two are not some of the most powerful nations for sure, but they still have quite the regional power and influence.

Anyway, has anyone considered that maybe the reason Outcast gave us all so much debt was to prevent this insta ww1?

Siam is in a safe spot since Britain and France probably want it as a buffer between British India and soon-to-be French Indochina. Your power projection might be a little questionable, though, much less so than Korea's would be since your only neighbors are most likely going to be European colonies.

Ethiopia has a lot of potential since Europe didn't bother with it too much until Italy came along, and you have the potential to expand into the rest of the Horn of Africa.

@Ampahros Thanks for pointing that out. I wasn't entirely sure if it was Istanbul or Constantinople, but since Istanbul tends to refer to Constantinople after the conquest I assumed it would have been officially the name at the time. Apparently not ^^' I will also edit the Austria-Hungary mistake.
Just a quick note, 'Central Asian Khanates' includes Afghanistan. If that isn't obvious I can put Afghanistan in there for clarity.

Ethiopia sounds like a good choice for you, Jiwon. Or maybe even one of the Boer Republics. Africa needs some love too after all.
