Bio:
Her base form is the weakest among all the Arrancar in terms of raw destructive power. Even a normal Gillian has better direct combat ability. She is unable to even use the most basic abilities of Hollows because of this, let alone the strong and varied abilities of the Arrancar. When she was a normal human, she had direct contact with the spiritual world around her. Though most humans cannot perceive the spiritual world around them, this girl could, though to a highly limited degree.
This was a time when the concept of a unified human response to Hollows didn't exist yet, as the Quincy had not properly formed. However, this didn't mean there wasn't sparse or unorganized resistance. It is possible for humans to gain spiritual perception, and if something can be perceived, it can be manipulated, even if it's close to impossible. For humans, the vengeance against Hollows was something that came only naturally.
To humans fighting Hollows, her ability to sense said Hollows was not overtly important. Even if one has the capability to perceive Hollows, that does not mean they have the ability to fight them. In the first place, normal weapons won't do much, and this is doesn't even factor in those of the Menos class.
Her combat ability was minimal, so someone like her could be considered a liability. While she was an intelligent girl, and had good abilities as a medic, all other abilities were abysmal. She could not run fast. She could not punch hard. She could not sense Hollows very well. She could not use any special offensive ability to fight them. She had no potential at "fighting" let alone beings like Hollows.
However, just because she can harm others doesn't make her powerless. In the end, while all of her other abilities were subpar, her "resistance" had large potenital. When it came to actually going on the offensive she was comparable to a normal human, but when she was attacked by the acidic touch of the Hollows, she gained resistance after a given time.
However just because someone can resist attacks doesn't mean they can win a battle. Because it was her one and only ability, all she could do is passively take non physical attacks and slowly grow a resistance to them.
However such a tactic is impractical, and could only be used in actual combat by making her a distraction and having her take the brunt of the damage. Even then, she only had the healing rate of a normal human, so any sort of critical damage inflicted upon her would end her. In that way, she had little to no combat utility, thus to those humans, she was more of a liability.
Still, if her ability is "resistance" what is its source? That was the question her "mother" asked, and being an intelligent woman, she set about finding that answer. Logically speaking it had to be a reactionary ability, as she did not automatically have a resistance ability. In other words, it was adaption, it needed a stimulus to happen. That was relatively simple, so in practicality, what would happen if that ability was pushed to its limits?
It was a relatively useless and limited ability. However, like any ability it could be refined. And it was refined far, far, far, to well.
She was subjected to the same stimulus over and over again, the strength of the stimulus increasing every time, until finally she became resistant to that stimulus.
Then her mother moved on to the next kind of stimulus. And repeated this process constantly, again and again. However, this was not to increase the amount of things she was resistant to. That wouldn't help her in combat; there are practically a limitless number of things in this world that can harm a person. It'd be impossible to try and make yourself resistant to every single one of them using this process.
The true purpose for this treatment was to increase her powers, to push them to their limits; to use a tiny thread, and make a useless power useful. That point was reached.
And that's when everything started to go horribly wrong.
Her ability, which was adaptive resistance, began to resist itself. Her body resisted itself, eliminated itself, uniformed itself, and made itself into one thing. In other words, she ended up with only one kind of cell. It unlocked her true ability, that of "absorption". The ability itself was unstable, however she finally had a use for those who had worked on her. Though she lost her original form and body and became nothing more than a blob, she was capable of absorbing things. In doing so, anything she absorbed could not escape her without outside interference. In other words she was an excellent seal to put away hollows that were to strong for the humans to kill.
However, her body itself was still to unstable for that, so she promptly died and became a Hollow. She has a natural affinity towards "raising through the ranks" of the Menos considering her ability, however her ability to become an Arrancar itself is much harder and slower because of that growth.
Eventually, after consuming many things, she was sealed away by the humans who created her. Sucks to suck.
She took off her mask while being sealed, and in doing so finally stabilized her absorption and resistance abilities. Subsequently, she broke free.
Forms
Her true and base form is that of a simple blob.
Kaguya at a base is a horrible Arrancar. She is unable to use any of their specific abilities, even the ones normal, suckier Hollow can do. She is a blob who can do blob things. The primary advantages of being a blob is that fact she emits no smell, no sound, and cannot be detected as she absorbs the energy she gives off. However, conversely, as a blob she is only capable of noticing the environment around her with the sense of a touch. The rest of her other senses are unusable unless she materializes a body part that is for that sense, but it makes her marginally more detectable. In this form she has extreme durability because she is a blob, along with her resistance and absorption abilities. However she has 0 offensive ability in an open fight, and even during an ambush she can easily be defeated. It's basically only good for running away from fights or hiding.
Misnomer. This is the appearance her body takes when it's a body and not a blob.
Kaguya's true ability is absorption, not unlike Epsada number nine. It could be called the final form of the absorption ability, and "Draining" then "Copying" then "Scaling Down" are all possible. To absorb something it must be inside of her, and it will be quickly liquefied, regardless of whether it's organic or inorganic. After something has been absorbed by her, it is completely cut off from "the outside world" and becomes fully apart of her. She can dictate completely what happens to what she absorbs, and has full knowledge of what it is and is capable of. After something is absorbed, she can convert it to many things, including EXP and energy. All things "owned" by the person or object she absorbs becomes "hers", including memories, skills, and abilities, not unlike the ninth espada. Being absorbed by her is not an absolute death; those she absorbs still "exist" within her, and she is fully capable of interacting with them while they are there. It is not impossible for her to "spit out" those she has taken inside of her, though she must do this of her own will.
Because she is not experienced enough in this ability, she is unable to use it to "shapeshift" though she can modify her body to some degree, it takes a large amount of strain to do so.
Because of this, it's impossible to assume her original form, so her true appearance no longer exists in the physical world. Rather, her appearance is that of those she absorbed; the stronger the spirtual energy of the thing or person she absorbed, the more influence it has on her appearance.
Also, this is a misnomer, but she absorbed her own Resurrección. She truly is a weird blob.
Personality: Something akin to a NEET, but not really except really. Leads an unhealthy lifestyle, she would probably be fat if she wasn't already dead. She has a tendency of running around in circles during conversations, and while intelligent, she is very naive.
The only regret she has is that she cannot assume her original form, and treats her current body as a "vehicle", nothing more. Her opinion about Shinigami is neutral because she has had no dealings with them except for a single time. However considering he went MIA and was never confirmed KIA, she doesn't have to deal with revenge threats. Most people just assume she's the Arrancar that she absorbed.
She doesn't try to live a normal life, but she does try to lead a "life".
Abilities:
Her original capability. It's resistance against attacks, primarily focused around long ranged attacks like Cero, but also extends to status effects as well. The more she is hit by an attack, the more resistance she gains from it. Normally this would take months to build up even a marginal resistance, but her body going haywire has increased it a great degree.
Extended effects are counted as multiple hits.
She has absorbed many Hollows to increase her abilities, but among those two people she has absorbed stand out in particular; one of the Captains of Division 11, and a fellow Arrancar of the highest class.
She has not fully mastered either because of her inexperienced and reckless nature. Knowing all of their capabilities is different than knowing how to use all their capabilities.
The Captain in particular had not unlocked their Bankai, but made up for it through swordsmanship skill. His particular style relied on "mastery". By mastering as many weapons as possible, he could fully understand the weapons his enemies used to fight with, and know all of their options. With this knowledge he made his own style of sword using combat that is extremely effective. While he was an excellent swordsman, he relied for the most part on physical abilities and weapon skill to carry the day. To complement his physical abilities, he trained extensively in the art of Shunpo, and he was known for his lightning fast speed, specifically designed to support the movement of his weapon.
The Arrancar was a specialized variant who had little in the way of direct offense, but had excellent "counterattack" abilities. They specialized completely in Hierro, and while their other abilities were lacking, their Hierro was exemplary. Their release form gave them access to a specialized form of Reiatsu that turned their defensive abilities into offense. When Resurrección was activated, their Reiatsu became volatile to others, and it became imbued within their armored skin. It increased their defensive abilities, but more importantly, when attacked the arm their opponent attacked them with would become numb and steadily take damage, the amount of damage and numbness increasing with every strike they made with that limb. The Reiatsu itself could be imbued in objects, and ate away at everything it touched like acid, or some sort of virus. If one were to touch it directly, their skin would resemble a limb afflicted with frostbite. It is particularly troublesome to heal from at a base, but it makes it even more complicated because the Reiatsu is invasive, meaning it remained on the wound. It's comparable to shrapnel, meaning even if the physical damage is healed, the medic or healer must remove every bit of Reiatsu bit by bit to ensure the damage doesn't return.
