Appearance:

Name: Alex Sinclair Title: Age: 32 Faction: Ultimatum Personality: A fervent believer in the Ultimatum and their cause, he believes in the sanctity and the law and will follow it unbendingly, even if it is to his own detriment. To those who disobey the law, like the Librarian, he only has hatred for. He won't even consider the notion that the law is unjust, and is proactive in carrying out the law and judgement of the Ultimatum. However, as a result he generally doesn't have much of a personal life, and his people skills leave something to be desired, his determination and belief not really helping him in relationships when it comes down to it. But he doesn't mind. History: Alex grew up with the Forever War but history, the rule of the Ultimatum was concrete, absolute. And compared to the history of Earth before then, it seemed almost a blessing. There was no more internecine conflict, no more petty squabbles between nations. The Ultimatum ruled all. But that was no concern of his, his main issues in life being his friends, hanging out, and just otherwise enjoying life while preparing for the future. That changed though, with the riots. His parents were killed, not by the Ultimatum, but by the rioters themselves who protested against the Ultimatum. It scarred him, changed him, hardened him. If this was what freedom meant to these people then he wanted no part of it. Couldn't they see that the world was better this way, that society as a whole had benefited? No, they couldn't. And now with their 'freedom' they had taken away those he cared about most. So he recovered from the grief, used it, sharpened it into a sword. He went through Academy, and when it was complete, he signed up for the Judicial Branch, devoting himself fully to the pursuit of his job, his career and the requirements of it. He made quite a reputation there too, as a person focused on the upholding of the law, with no consideration made to his career. There has to be order, and he would be the one to maintain that order. Tome: Name: Legibus Codicis (Code of Laws) In book form, it takes the appearance of an apparent pocket bible, with a white leather cover that has an almost glittering star in the middle, and black on the edges, and a strong binding. Inside, the pages are practically wafer thin, yet incredibly strong, with all the codes and laws of the Ultimatum written down within. It can be opened to any desired law on command. When activated, it becomes several incredibly sharp short swords that Alex is able to wield with merely a thought. There is a range limit, and he finds it hard to focus on personal combat when his Tome is in use
