After more than a year of being content with the Star Empires existing but not so much else, I finally got intrested in this.

I'm going to edit this post, with the new apps for my nations and other stuff, so make sure to check on it from time to time.

Here's the minor nation I was talking about earlier:

I have finished the app, save for the religion part. I will do it tommorow, since the whole app took about two and a half of hours to write and it's 9 P.M right now.

After more than a year of being content with the Star Empires existing but not so much else, I finally got intrested in this. AyaeridYirav:These species are specially adapted to thrive on water, although they can survive on the land (if it's not, say, 2 km above the ground). They have two eyes on their heads, but they don't see very well outside of the water but they do have a good sense of smell in the land due to their large noses. They have small horns across their chests and backs, which allows them to listen to stuff.Their skin is elastic and strong. When they are born, their colours are dark gold, dark orange or dark brown. However, as they grow up, they grow lighter and after they have meno/andropause they also start desaturating. Those who mananged to live the longest either had little traces of their former colour or they simply were very light grey. The males are usually bulkier than their female counter part and their colors are more varied. The females, however, are usually bigger and they have darker colours. The average lifespan of a male is about 45 years and females 47. Their sexual hormones start acting after they are 10 years old and by the time they are 16 they are fully able to breed without any major risks due to the mothers short age. By the time they are 30, they start having their meno/andropause. Theocratic. The major religion of this nation is Yerahaedism and is the official religion of the empire (explained on the other section). Basically the nation is ruled by the Yerahid of the Talkani branch of Yerahaedism. The Yerahid, according to the Talkanis, is literally handpicked by the gods and given demigod abilities. Therefore, any opposition to him is considered blasphemous and can result in prison until the "blasphemer" retracts his former statements. "Blasphemers" are often put into an orwellian regime, in where they can't martyrise themselves and they have to stay there until they are finally convinced. After that, they are put back into society. The second violation means death penality. There is a parlament which supposedly rules along with the Yerahid, but the Yerahid may always expel someone without proper reasons, as supposedly his word is above every single mortal. The Yerahid also has 20 votes on the parlament, thus it's a very corrupt place. Due to the ever-rising threat of secularism and other forms of liberalism, they need to have a strong military. Their fleet rallies about 300 ships (I don't know how many do the other people have but if it's definetily too OP, tone it down to 100 or 50) but after a secularist rebellion, they are planning to expand the fleet. Their fleet is mostly trained for revolt suppresion, anti-guerrilla tactics and it's mostly focused on defense. Automated turrets on the orbit are quite common but there is also a large population of turrets in the asteroids and moons. The Yirav developed in the galaxy in peace for tens of thousands of years until the interdimensional crisis kicked in. Their small nations were destroyed, their species went extinct on almost all the planets they colonized and the few which survived were kicked back into the neolithic. Due to the fact that most of the survivors were in planets where there was little process in terraformation, it took them a lot longer to develop, some even dying out. Eventually though, they mananged to adapt and around the same time their technological developement pace was changing too. By the time they got back in space, though, they already broke into different species, each taking caracteristics of their new homes (some have longer lifespans, increased land tolerance, etc.). The planet of the Ayaerids, known as Choyowei, was the average planet for any of the broken species. It wasn't the most hospitable planet they could have, but it was survivable.Fast foward to the foundation of the Ayaerid nation. The Ayaerid Empire was created by the union of extremist Yerahaedists (circa what we could call the 17-18th centuries) as a response to the ever-popularizing secularization in their lands. The nations of the of Choyowei were very unfortunate, since the new empire was very large and covered areas with strategic resources such as oil, uranium and food. One by one, the nations of Choyowei fell one by one to the sword of the Yerahaedists until the planet was conquered (by the period we could compare to the times of the scrambling of Africa). This conquest caused the planet to develop a lot slower than it would normaly do so and 4 centuries had to pass until the Choyoweian Yiravs emerged into space a la Neil Armstrong and 5 more for actual space colonization (save for a few exiles which mananged, at an enormus risk, to get out earlier. If I'm allowed to make multiple nations on the terms of the Other section, I will expand their history and make a republic for them). However, they developed surprisingly fast, and another century took place before they colonized the whole solar system.(if I'm allowed to have multiple nations) Around the same time, though, they discovered other Yiravids, and they weren't happy at all. The first spaceships outside the solar system were military spaceships created in order to smite the infidels. They expanded very aggresively due to their absolute intolerance to infidels until they were met by a large coallition to halt their aggresive expansionism. They were utterly crushed, reduced to a few core systems and were forced by the Treaty of Sniuatera to recognize other nation's religious rights. However, a few centuries later, they infiltrated the governments that succeded them and had much of it's territory returned.(if I'm not allowed to have multiple nations) After a few centuries, they decided to expand and crushed the still-primitive governments that ruled the planets they conquered. They crushed their native religions mercilessly and assimilited their population rapidly. This caused a major eruption in rebellious secularists, which for a time occupied most of the empire. They were forced to allow certain religious tolerance at local level, but the government structure changed little (save for the creation of the parlament, which continues to this very day unchanged)(in both cases) However, no matter how oppresive or legitimate the government is, eventually liberalism will strike from the shadows. An ever-growing secularization movement is growing among the population and it has been caught despite the people struggling to keep it on secrecy. The amount of arrests show that this rebellion will be quite bigger than the other exponential rebellions the empire suffered. Will the Yerahid keep control of his empire and this one rebellion remain as one of the many rebellions? Will he be forced to quit some of his powers? Or will he be overthrown? Now that my app is nearing completion, may I create another nation and a couple medium/minor nations (all of these with the same species of course)? I'm not going to use it as a bridge to ultimate galaxy blobbing or to make a gigantic alliance (unless everyone wants to exterminate them off the galaxy or something like that). I say this because it feels quite unrealistic that, unless this just happens to follow the same technological timeline of futuretimeline.net, the whole species are part of one nation. In addition, just for general benefit, may I ask that someone draws a map?

Accepted! Nice to see you again.

As for the map, I think it's actually a valid thing in this case. Because we can keep track of the entire area. However, I won't be making it because I've already spent an entire day on a TVtropes article. For the roleplay.
I think I may be addicted to Void of the Stars.

You must be extremely bored to write it on TV Tropes :P

However, I still have the question of wether I can create and control multiple nations within my area so long as it's balanced.

Sure, I was kind of doing that with the original AIF, though it didn't show all that much.

Also, it's summer and I live in America, where summer is a bajillion years long. Of course I'm bored!
Fun fact: The TVtropes code is absolutely impossible to use. Took me an hour to figure out how to make something bold and italic. Turns out you do this:
'''''This is too complicated'''''
Would become:
This is too complicated

You didn't know? We're in the Matrix. TV Tropes exists to keep us occupied so we don't figure it out.

I may be joining soon. However, I would like to be the cosmographer!

If someone can send me a rough draft with civilization placement, I'll make a compelling geopolitical cosmographical map!

Problem being all us are shit at placing stuff on maps so
let me go steal a map from one of the MCF threads and then people can ask on that where they would like to be placed.

Found it
Although it is quite crap but
I recommend placing colored dots which would indicate a star system, the color would correspond to a particular nation.

Gotta love how the Tyranids and the Triarii have reached an agreement... and yet are still having a stand off as if to just say 'I've got bigger balls than you!' 'Nah, my balls are bigger!' xD

Can I suggest that people also make a faded out version of original territory? This would be kinda handy for old Zonan planets.

Name of nation: Chaos

Species: multiple corrupt species, Daemons, other warp entities

Description of government: Anarchy and worship of the Chaos Gods

Description of military: Chaos, also known to its servants as the Primordial Truth or the Primordial Annihilator is the universal and usually malign spiritual force embodied by the malevolent intelligent entities comprised of psychic energy that live in the Warp. Chaos is the equal and opposite of Order. The entities who embody Chaos are mostly daemons, but the term also encompasses those mortals who have thrown in their lot with Chaos, ranging from simple peasants and/or labourers who serve as Chaos Cultists, to Traitor Soldiers, planetary militia, nobles, Planetary Governors, and the mighty Chaos Space Marines and Traitor Titan Legions of the Dark Mechanicus.

Chaos is also itself the turbulent psychic energy that comprises the Immateriumand gives shape to the nightmare domains of the individual Chaos Gods that are collectively called the Realm of Chaos. Chaos is almost synonymous with the Warp -- the two concepts are inseparable, for Chaos is the limitless ocean of spiritual, psychic and emotional energy that defines the Immaterium and underlies the 4-dimensional material universe of space-time. It is a great and raw force of change and power, and is both physically and spiritually corrupting, though it is not in itself necessarily "evil." While its adherents and servants act in ways that are often malevolent, some devotees of Chaos are more dedicated to the service of freedom and change than of the pure selfishness that Mankind and most other intelligent species define as nefarious. However, more often than not, the Chaos Gods reward individual accomplishment in such a way that the ends justify the means, and the absence of hierarchy and emphasis on individual freedom leads to the pursuit of excess and personal aggrandisement that can only be characterised as damnation.

The most evolutionarily-advanced mortals, psykers, can utilise this energy, thus making them capable of abilities which transcend the standard physical laws of the material universe as humanity understands them. However, the malevolent power of Chaos can gradually corrupt a psyker, tainting his mind and body and turning him into the slave of the Ruinous Powers. The most powerful entities of Chaos are the four great Chaos Gods, also known as the Ruinous Powers, who each embody one aspect of the greater force of Chaos and can be worshipped individually or as an entire pantheon. The iconic symbol of Chaos is the eight-pointed star, representing the infinite possibilities of Chaos. Ultimately, Chaos and its entities seek nothing less than the complete destruction of the material universe and its hated Order, so that all of Creation is once more consumed by the primordial and uncontained energies of Chaos. In general, Chaos is a malevolent spiritual force that represents the collective negative aspects of the psyches of every sentient being in the Galaxy, and in the wider universe. The Chaos Gods embody myriad and particular flaws of a vast collection of races.

Chaos corrupts so easily because it speaks to the character flaws inherent in every man and woman and seeks to exploit the weaknesses of their respective natures. It takes an extraordinary individual of truly iron will and selflessness to resist the serial temptations of Chaos. It is also these inherent character flaws that produce the rampant physical and anatomical mutations of individuals exposed to Chaotic energies, as these mutations are driven by the inner flaws of the person's psyche being made manifest in their physical person as Chaos bridges the gap between the Immaterium and realspace.

With all the obvious dangers associated with Chaos, such as mutation, daemonic possession, and spiritual damnation, some might wonder why anyone would willingly choose to serve the Ruinous Powers. The answer is actually simple. Chaos judges its servants solely on their abilities and their records of success and failure in promoting the agenda of the individual Chaos Gods and of Chaos Undivided as a whole. Chaos also offers those who serve it the opportunity to perhaps one day wield power and respect far beyond the dreams of most mortals' avarice. For so many people, connections and inherited wealth are rewarded rather than ability, and where it is impossible on many worlds for a talented individual to ever better their lot, Chaos actually offers a substantial degree of freedom and the only real meritocracy that they have ever known. But Chaos is not a benevolent force, and for the vast majority of those who fall to Chaos' temptations, they will never reach either power or position and will be little more than faceless puppets in the endless schemes of the Dark Gods. While Chaos may reward success with power, even the mightiest Chaotic servant becomes a slave of Chaos, never its master. Most Chaotics will fail in their quests for power, eventually ending up as possessed Daemonhosts, mindless Chaos Spawn, or simply as just another corpse in the heap, a pawn whose usefulness to the Ruinous Powers has ended.

History: Chaos has existed for far longer than any surviving creatures in the Galaxy. It primarily exists within the Warp and has only just began to invade 'real' space once again

Other (Culture and the like): Corruption, Destruction, Trickery, and Pleasure are the four traits that define chaos culture each are represented by a chaos God.

Chaos special rules: Chaos taint affects all races on a small scale unless that race is using mind control of some kind and even they Psionic units can be possessed by Daemons.

Warp space is not accessible without a warp drive. Note: A Protection field is recommended to defend against warp entity incursion but not required for warp travel.

Chaos gods cannot enter combat physically but also cannot be destroyed. They can However be weakened.

Many religions believe Chaos to be Hell or other such things out of misunderstanding thus if you wish to incorporate chaos into your religion feel free to.

The 5th Chaos god know as Malal or Malice is the Rogue god working to destroy both Chaos and the Material world I will roleplay his existence work against myself at times.
