(A bit more NPC control.) The boy continued to concentrate on the pool of blood that he spawned to lead the other experiments to his latest victim. He heard a voice from a stairway. "Who is that? Shults?" A guard called out from the darkened hallway. The guard approached Shults with caution. Even though he was told the demon within Shults was meant to be loyal to Patience Evans; he never trusted it, it was a demon after all, a entity bent around hurting others. Turning his neck to face the guard slowly; the boy looked at the guard in a plain manner. "How did you get out here? Did Patience let you out?" The guard asked with a shiver in his voice. He paid witness to the tests involving Shults, the fear in the experiments eyes was almost infectious. As if the fear was caught by those witnessing. The guard got no reply from Shults. He just continued to stare at the guard which made the guard feel uneasy. "Well, let's go back to your cell." The guard calmly commanded. "No!" The boy replied in a deep and unnatural tone. As the boy went to reach for the guard he received a tranquillizer dart to the neck. Within seconds of realizing he had taken a pressure to the neck, it went blank and his body slumped to the floor. Another guard came from a different direction with the dart gun held in his hands. A slightly cocky grin on his face. The reason the demon within the child had acted the way it did was because his cell was filled with strange symbols that are carved into the walls to stop the demon's activity in case he tried to escape from the cell. For the demon, this acted as a cell with which he could not escape. His cell is also filled with candles due to the fact that naked light weakens the power of the demon and burns the demon in full form if the symbols stopped working for some reason. "You know, you should call for back up when you try to take an experiment on by yourself. Rookie." The second guard boasted. The second guard threw down a cigarette from his mouth and crushed it with the base of the bottom of his shoe. "Take him back to his cell." The second guard ordered; blowing out the remainder of the smoke. The first guard grabbed the boy and took him to his cell for which he just lobbed him in. The demon's spirit may still exist but with a body that is unconscious, the demon has a hard time controlling it. The demon can over-look pain and fear but if the body is dead or unconscious, there is nothing more the demon can do. Shults laid there unconscious. The guard took the dart from his neck and locked the cell door behind him, taking a single glare through the opened slot before going about his normal shift.
