I might as well move the conversation on to here since OOC stuff. Would it be possible for a virus to act tame but ultimately be looking towards the destruction of the team through various bits of scheming and undermining? All the while eating it's own, lesser-minded, virus brethren simply to continue it's ruse? It's no longer a character idea anymore but I'd like to expand upon it anyway seeing as how it might be an interesting side-plot later down the road. Also what's wrong with very odd things? Very odd things are amazing! I'll probably continue screwing around with character ideas in very odd ways anyway, just not with viruses. Maybe I could take the augmented reality yet still reality thing to a different understanding by making a human a non-humanoid. Or other various things I'm going to attempt to toss around willy-nilly. I'm sorry if I already seem like a handful :P
Again, no. Moderators wouldn't recruit a virus, because viruses are kind of the causes of all of their problems. And they aren't biological viruses, they can't serve a purpose in making vaccines: They're just violent, mindless beasts under the control of The Morbi. They're exactly what they say on the tin. Now I should probably make a point of this because I fear we're already getting into the territory of characters being unmanageable in-story, and we haven't even *made* those characters yet. I appreciate your enthusiasms, and you're imaginative character ideas. Your initiative is a sign of somebody very imaginative, which is the trait of a good roleplay. But your character is a Moderator. That's what this roleplay is about. Moderators. Not viruses, nor androids (although androids do exist). Just Moderators- The B-Team- trying really hard not to suck at the job they've been dropped into. This is precisely why it's about the good guys. Because I want these characters to develop, as humans. It's a punch-and-kick-'em-up, sure, but it's got a slice of life aspect to it: They're civilians, too, and I want those civilian identities to grow.
