Calarin After giving Ab'Farahan the good news, before he set off to the Black Marsh Summit, Ta'fel returned to the village of Calarin, which had shockingly fortified itself extremely, in the short time Ta'fel was gone. The walls had extra stone added and were very thick, and balistas and other defensive equipment were made and placed on the walls. The blacksmith and his apprentice had made a quick batch of Iron armour and weapons which most ablebodied men were equipped with now, However, because they were made so quickly they were not as strong as they could've been, but the blacksmith said that whenever it was safe enough and he had the chance he will try and reinforce a few sets of armour at a time. The equipped men were either walking on the walls or practicing their skills. Although it was a small village the population was rather big and because it was surrounded by hills it was easier to defend. Ta'fel walked towards the centre of the village and announced "Alright men, listen up! We are about to attack Corinthe. Ta'fel has brought even more men and siege equipment to help us out. Ta'fel needs at least a hundred of you to come with us. Who's ready to give the southerners what they're asking for?" The men roared and just like Ta'fel wanted, atleast a hundred men came to help out, including J'Dato. "Excellent!" Ta'fel praised "Men! Get rest! Tomorrow, We take back Corinthe!" Again, the crowd roared. Outside of Corinthe, the following morning Ta'fel and his small army observed the city of Corinthe. "Hmm..." Ta'fel said while observing a weak spot of Corinthe's walls, "Catapults! On the Eastern wall! Do you see it! The wall is damaged! Strike there on Ta'fel's command! And after the wall is open, Ta'fel only wants you to attack the walls afterwards if you deem it necesarry. Do you understand? We need to keep the city together so we don't have to repair more after it is conquered. And men, only attack those who are equipped with weapons and are attacking you. We don't want to kill innocents." "Yes sir!" The army replied, acknowledging Ta'fel's commands. "Good..." Ta'fel waited a few minutes and then... "STRIKE THE WALL!" Ta'fel yelled while him and the majority of men charged towards the city, the others stayed behind to protect the siege equipment. As Ta'fel and his men charged towards the city, volleys of arrows were landing around them and hitting some of the men, but as they reached the city, the wall had opened up and they charged in striking down hostile threats. In Corinthe, Late afternoon/Early evening Many men on both sides died that day, but it finally ended when Ta'fel, who even though he had injured one of his arms, he still fought with ferocity because of his vendetta against the mayor, and J'Dato slayed the Mayor in charge of Corinthe. Almost all of the Southern men dropped their weapons and stood down, the ones who didn't and continued fighting were slain. The southern soldier were thrown into the prisons below Corinthe. Ta'fel and J'Dato sat down in the main hall of the keep. "J'Dato" Ta'fel started "You did well in the battle. You're a natural fighter." "Hmm... Thank you." J'Dato replied. "Will you return to Calarin?" "J'Dato would think so unless you have other plans." "Well, we need someone to manage Calarin, Ta'fel thinks you'd be the man for now." "Well, I accept your offer..." He didn't finish his scentance, instead he stood up and ran towards a woman he saw. "Rabinna! Rabinna!" He yelled. "J'Dato?" The woman replied shocked that they had met again. "Rabinna." He said "But, J'dato though she was the only one who survived that dreadful night at Takar!" "And so did J'Dato!" "Do you mind telling Ta'fel who this is?" Asked Ta'fel. "This is J'Dato friend, Rabbina." Replied J'Dato "It seems she survived the Takar attack aswell." "Rabbina cannot believe she is not the only one who survived!" Rabbina exclaimed. "Well, Ta'fel is glad you could meet again, but Ta'fel has to go." "We understand. Goodbye Ta'fel until we meet again." "Goodbye." Ta'fel finished as he and some of the men wandered of back to Calarin, while others stayed to protect Corinthe. Ta'fel never told men about his injured arm, as he fought it was embarrassing to admit he had been captured, and it could also lower his men's morale.
