 Charlotte is not what anybody would call a particularly serious person, but there is no doubting that she has both great talent and great intellect. She doesn't work well with others, due partially to her eccentric nature and otherwise as a result of her lazy, careless mannerisms. She seems to have no real passion in her, drifting absentmindedly through her magical education as if she was without a care in the world. This, of course, has earned her the ire of many a teacher and peer, particularly from those who believe education should be taken seriously. If something manages to perk her interest, she will pursue it ruthlessly and without restraint.

Due to past incidents, she has a natural dislike both for muggles and muggle-born wizards, and does her best to avoid contact with them where possible, as if they were some kind of infectious beast. She is surprisingly easily provoked despite her calm appearance, and once irritated she tends to hold a grudge for long periods of time. Her malicious side is rarely shown, but when it is finally revealed to those who have wronged her, it might be described as a [i]"Slow to take effect, but fast-killing sort of venom."[/i]
