Though he wears muggle styled clothes(has a preference for jeans and a T-shirt) in casual settings, there are tale tell signs. Shoes, for instance, are almost always wizard made, and wizard styled. His T-shirts often have logos for magical music groups, or companies. When dressed up, however, it's much more obvious that he's not at all a muggle. Wears what a muggle would call "old tyme" clothes. Waistcoats and old fashioned trousers and ties. Despite having perfect vision, he has a pair of horn rimmed glasses that are enchanted to adapt to conditions to protect his eyes. They keep wind rain and sun at bay, and will never fall off. All very important for high speed flying. Likes to make jokes and will occasionally be seen as a nuisance, especially by particularly uptight people. Very carefree and easy going, like's to live his life as relaxed as possible. Not terribly competitive by nature, but can reciprocate if someone wants to challenge him. Likes to think things through and consider multiple sides of things. Is often one to try to see something from another's point of view, and to convince others to do the same. Unsurprising, given his blood status, he's always one to support the integration of muggles and wizards. He sees magic as a gift and a responsibility, not a privilege to be lorded over others. He even goes so far as to make a bit of side money performing minor charms for muggles. Thomas is usually in a very relaxed, sedentary state. He doesn't like excitement or competition so much. The only thing relatively fast paced he'll do is flying which, counter-intuitively, he finds quite relaxing. It helps him to clear his head. Despite being on broomsticks all his life, he's actually not much of a quidditch fan. He doesn't like the pointless conflict it causes, and thinks the rules are arbitrary to begin with. SHORT BIOGRAPHY: Thomas is the son of a wizard and a muggle woman. His mother works in an office, and he is not at all clear on what she does. His father, Ben Grimm, works for Starbolt Brooms, a relatively new American company that manufactures broomsticks, primarily for sports. Ben works heavily in overseas sales, and with the company's expanding market he is often running back and fourth across Europe and Asia. Tom grew up in a home that was empty more often than not, with his father's travels and his mother's work schedule. He learned to enjoy his solitude, rather than getting lonely. He found solace in turning his mind inward, and seeing what he could see. His magical abilities were discovered around the time you'd expect of any young wizard, and his father was overjoyed. Ben's joy at discovering Tom's magical powers left a sort of mark on the young boy, and he was eager to prove himself to be a competent wizard in his early school years. His father showed pride in his grades, but his hard work and natural intelligence paid off in other ways, when Kingsridge School of Witchcraft and Wizardry sent him a letter inviting him to join them in New York. It was an easy choice. He's done relatively well in Kingsridge thus far, well enough to keep his spot. MISCELLANEOUS: Has the Sight. Comes from Portland, Oregon. His magical strengths lie in Divination, and Charms, particularly elemental based ones. Starbolt 8 sport broom. The latest model from the company his father works for. Starbolt was founded as one of the first company's to integrate muggles into a primarily wizarding field. Unlike wizard manufactured brooms, Starbolt brooms are precision cut and shaped using machines to measure balance and strength of the wood. A lot of purists(oddly enough many of them are pureblood) will maintain that hand made brooms are the only way to go. Starbolt Brooms will always maintain that their precision machined products are of the highest quality, and undergo the same rigorous inspection and testing as any other broom. They're popular among muggle borns and the few muggles who have adopted broomsticks since the overturn of the International Statute of Secrecy, but they haven't caught hold in the mainstream, and you'll never see one in the Quidditch World Cup. Spirit: I want to get along with her, because she's in my house and all, but I can't really handle people who actively dislike muggles. I just don't get it. Maybe if she told me why we could hash it out? Rylan Amalia Keenan: Kind of a trouble maker. I don't usually run with the same kind of crowd, but I don't think anyone in the school hasn't at least talked to her. You can't convince her she's wrong, and she won't hold anything back. Salem Truitt Don't really know him. Looks like a good guy. Can apparently talk to Ouroboros? Not actually sure how I feel about that. Jealous, I guess. Nolan Parver: She's pretty close to spirits. I know she looks odd to others, but sometimes I wonder if she sees things the way I do. Jayln Vance: Don't know him so well, 'Cause he's not in my house. Seems alright, and I can talk to him about muggle sports. Lamillia May Johnson: I can't really talk to her. Everything is about the visual and physical world. Don't get me wrong, I have my vices there too, but she has no interest in anything deeper. Cliodhna Burns: I try not to use my cell phone around her, I guess she's a bit of a wizard purist. That's her business, as long as she's not crapping on the muggle borns I can deal. I can't shake the feeling she's hiding something. Don't know if I should pursue it. Could be nothing, could be premonition. Benjamin Teague: More than once we've turned around to break up the same fight. Morrigan Cassandra Brighthill: Ha, the Deathwish Queen? Appropriate name. Cool girl, someone I can fly with. She's a bit of a snob about brooms, but I don't blame her after flying that Starfall. She likes to push things, and has gotten me into trouble more than once. But the fun kind of trouble that's hard to resist. Kwes Powers: Talks a lot, but I don't mind. He's the sort who'll make a real effort to cut to the core of things. I definitely applaud him for that. Emmeline Lovelock: She's always moving, and I'm not. Usually only meet when she passes by wherever I'm sitting. Very entrenched in the muggle world, even for a muggleborn. Toby Kipling: Crazy optimist, always laughing. Good energy.

Staff Reuben Grayson: I've never had occasion to talk to the headmaster face to face. Balthazar Casper Barnes: Kind of an "Uncle" type of teacher. Even likes to be called by his middle name. Made me uncomfortable my first year here, but whatever. Reliable. Melissa Wallace: Professor Wallace's aura makes my eyes hurt. Figuratively speaking. You can practically feel her walk into a room. Jaylen Beckley: A little biased towards purebloods. I don't like it, but what can I do? Madison James Cordell: Not my subject, but he's a good teacher.
