John After waking from the nightmare he had the horror of watching, John had taken to studying one of his text books, flipping on one of the table lights that adorned his desk and began to read. For a few hours John was heavily involved in his reading, not even noticing the light coming through his window, the first signs of a new day at the mansion. Soon after the first rays of light entered his room it happened. The lights went off, which cause the earth mover to blink and put his book down, his hand reaching for the on off switch of the lamp that had died, flicking the switch on and off a few times before the back up kicked in. Shrugging John once more delved into the pages of his book, swatting up for a test that was coming up - but this didnt last long as the lights cut again, and stayed cut; the back up had been cut off and the mansion being plunged in to a half darkness, with only areas of the mansion in light, those with windows. Leaving the book on his desk with the covers facing the ceiling so that he wouldnt lose his place he got dressed and started to move out and away from the dorms that housed the mail members of the active teams and headed towards the communal area of the mansion to try and rally the younger students to keep them calm while this issue is being resolved, hoping to run in to some of the other more experienced Xmen to help him in this endevour. Jax Jax was still in the kitchen with Steve, who had turned the conversation back on Jax merely asking 'And what about you?'. "Well in a nut shell I see well and fly." to enforce the point Jax spread his four wings out, letting them flutter before folding them against his back, "As for how long I have been here, perhaps a few hours at most?" It was more a question as Jax didnt have a watch or know what time it was when he flew through the window and had his fight with the clawed assassin. That was when the kitchen was plunged into darkness for a moment before coming back into life. "What happened there?" he mused aloud as the lights came back on, this was not to last as the lights cut again, which didnt impact on Jax has his eyes had no real issue with the dark. "Urm, youve been here a while - whats the procedures for a power cut? Its okay Steve, I can still see if we need to move from here." While Jax was starting to worry on the inside, he made sure to appear calm and sturdy on the outside as this Steve seemed the sort to be very nervous and that a situation like this may push him into a panic attack of some sort.
