King Orgnum of Pyandonea 13th of Midyear Abbarbas "You know they won't be vampires, Irweni, so don't press the matter. Tamriel never got over its prejudices against the condition, and regulates the Sanguine to evil roles. We'll enlighten them in time, by the blade or the fang. Send the messengers to the dominant powers. No doubt the Dominion is still prowling the waters, and seeing their boats again would lighten my mood. Old memories seem the best. Send a messenger to Alinor to delivery this note to whomever heads whatever edition of the Dominion they are on at this point, and to appraise their status. Someone you trust. Send out raids to the Valenwood coast as well, and scouts to Elsweyr. They're right above us, you know!" Irweni knodded silently, and stepped out of the balcony Orgnum was standing on. He wistfully leaned over a rail and started into a laugh. "Wouldn't want to die now, would I?" And so a paleskinned, blank eyed, Maormer launched on a faster cruiser towards the Summerset Isle while reconnaissance units sailed to the two provinces to the north. They hoped to return with news of the state of the world, and likely ports for landings. In due time, in due time. They had waited an entire era to return, and patience was ever so present among their virtues.
Hail Altmer Ruler, King Orgnum, no doubt of some infamy to your people, entreats you to meet with him at a docking of his ship with yours. It would be his great honour to be reintroduced to Tamriel through the experience of an old acquaintance. The King requests your response for a meeting date, the date is of no concern to the King although he requests you be expedient and prompt, as well as your discretion in this matter. King Orgnum wishes to have the privilege of unveiling his race to the world on his own terms, and bids you heed his request. The meeting place is set at sea, approximately half-way between our Isles. Your ship will be held in place by kelt and and other sea creatures. Ours will dock with yours. It is important that your men do not step onto our boat until explicitly invited. There, we will discuss world affairs and how we can cooperate should we decide to. As an extension of your will, we have sent a fleet to clear the waters and shores of southern Valenwood. As you are aware, the Kingdom Pyandonea has been out of affairs in Tamriel for some time. As such, King Orgnum requests that you explain your current government briefly in your response, so he may dress accordingly. Pyandonea looks forward to pleasant mists and calm waters with you. King Orgnum of Pyandonea, Ruler of Maormer.
------------------------------ Meanwhile, Orgnum's second visitor came to him. Aayandorin stepped inside to give his progress report. "Lord, we have taken steps to begin making the giant serpents suitable for land. My priests will find a way!" He bowed his head respectfully while Orgnum turned around. "I should hope so," the wizard commented, "for there is much faith in your order, and with faith comes responsibility." King Orgnum has ruled over these people for far longer than many others had ever dreamed to. He knew which words begot what results, though he did like to play with his words. "Besides," he continued, "How else would they eat the trees, hmm? Think of the trees." "Th- The trees, Lord?" "Valenwood, of course! Take the trees, and you take the Bosmer." "Of course, Lord. Yes, we'll keep the forest in mind." "Good, Aayandorin. I have faith you will not let me down." At this, the High Priest raised his head with conviction. "No I will not, Lord." The High Priest nearly rushed back to his temple, and bent his brow over mystic books and rituals. There was an answer, a hint, something, here. He would find it or he would make it himself. The other priests were in their studies and experiments already. Aayandorin continued running his eyes over page after page, his mind playing with possibilities. -------------------------------- At last, the Admiral of Orgnum's navy reported to his office. Uldindol was a navy man through and through. He'd pioneered some great designs, and been with Orgnum for a reasonable amount of time considering the wizard's life span. He wasn't a man of many words, preferring to only say what was necessary. His gloves creaked slightly before he spoke, like the always did. A slight tightening of the fists. His report was short, as it always was with High Admiral Uldindol. It began and ended with one word. "Twelve." Uldindol began to step out before stopping at the motion of Orgnum. "Make sure we have a diplomatic corvette two days south of Sunhold, escorted of course, two days south of Sunhold." Orgnum contemplated the report. Twelve ships. It certainly wasn't thirty, but it wasn't six or ten. No, twelve was decidedly twelve. And he had twelve. ------------------------------- Actions! Send messanger with note to Alinor. Send three scouting parties to Elsweyr and three combat detachments to Valenwood. In Valenwood, focus on eliminating all naval ships in the region. For Elsweyr, focus on small raids and reconnaissance before returning home. Research way to summon/breed giant land serpents. Carriers commissioned! -Edit- Changed some grammar.
