(Alright so this is the beginning. I'm going to make this a quick start. Not too much detail, but you'll get the basics of the information. Alright? Okay here we go. Keep in mind the team is of course the characters who aren't locked up.)

The sun had just set and those of the rebel village gathered. Currently there was a problem at hand which couldn't wait. Apparently that morning while patrolling the forest surrounding the village a close friend of these so called freedom fighters had been capture. It was likely that if they didn't act fast their ally could be killed. Though many thought that might be unlikely. Her skills were far too useful to be so idiotically wasted. Still the leaders of this particular encampment weren't planning to waste any time. This village was quite a bit away from the main city so they knew their comrade hadn't been taken too far. Most likely she had been taken to one of the smaller prison like towers located around the outer perimeter of the capitol. The kingdom had been trying to expand slowly. These prisons and towers had been popping up all over the place lately. For now the leaders had chosen a team.

"Alright everyone. The closest tower is located here. It's a bit of a ways away from the village, but that works out better for us. We need to sneak in and out and cover our tracks. Don't wanna be captured." Boulder said as he circled a point on a map. This was the village. There was an 'X' over the tower. There would be approximately 40 guards. 41 if you counted the head guard. An over seer of sorts. He was stations at the top of the tower. Newer or low risk prisoners would be nearer to the bottom. This was ideal for the group. The plan was for the majority of the team to distract and handle the guards while Kana and Octivian would sneak into the tower to retrieve the keys and release Lela. Anyone else that should be released would likely be released. However, not everyone was innocent. Some prisoners were in fact criminals and deserved their place in the tower prison. "Any questions?" Boulder asked after explaining the basics of the plan and mission over all.

The cell was dim with only a little bit of moonlight and torchlight filtering through the window. There was a bit of silence despite the occasional sound of a blade hitting wood or a yelp of pain that followed a whip and only the worst could be assumed from such a noise. The order and peace was eventually cut off with shouting and the sounds of chains as two guards dragged a long a wolf in a tattered shirt and pants, one that was issued to those whose clothing and armor were confiscated. The prisoner being dragged was covered in blood that came from a variety of slash marks hidden under his shirt, but one injury that couldn't be hidden and that was a large gash on his forehead.

Despite the prisoner's current condition, the guards opened the door and tossed him in like a dead body, letting him land on his hands in knees before they closed the door shut behind him. It was rather obvious the wolf was in too much pain to notice anything around him at the time, so he simply flopped over on his side, and tried his best to keep still, his body occasionally trembling in the agony it was blatantly in. "Keep good in there, will ya? The Justiciar likes his subjects to be cooperative for the next interrogation." A voice called out from the halls before the guards walked off, leaving him with whoever fate decided to lock him up with. The silence returned, before the new one spoke in a strained voice.

"I-is anyone there? H..Hello?"

Lela's Confusion

A rather large Canine type stared at Lela through the bars of her cage his expression to her unreadable.

"This creature is the reason why I was forced to move before I was prepared?" He says in a gruff voice to his Lieutenant a nasty little male of the same type

"Yes my Lord this is it" says the Lieutenant as he motions for a guardsman to drag over a prisoner
He grabs the unfortunate's arm and plunges his dagger in it's arm.
His Lord observing this quirks an eyebrow then notices that the Winged female has become agitated but not in anger as one would expect. No she is instead reaching through the bars as she emits a series of rapid-fire chirps.

"Observe My Lord" the scruffy minion thrusts the crying creature's wounded arm at the Skyborn and she grasps it as best she can the tone of her chirps softening. Almost immediately the wounded creature relaxes then shortly afterwards the blood stops flowing from the injury.

The Noble stands shocked as in only 15 minutes the Skyborn somehow causes the wound to disappear as if it had never happened even healing minor injuries it already had in the bargain.

"Amazing, it is now easy to see why she was to be captured unharmed" he says as he looks at Lela with a hungry gaze. Had he known of her power before his Lord he would have held her as his own and used her to amass power.
"See that she is closely guarded and that none injure her for if she is harmed I shall make you and who harms her pray for her aid"

"Yes My Lord she shall be as guarded as a treasure or the King's own Harem" whimpers the Lieutenant as he and the Noble walk away

Lela watches the bad groundlings her large ears pivoting to catch the groans and moans of others imprisoned around her whom she knows are in need of her aid.
Her wings stretch out touching either wall of her cage as she emits sounding waves that whisper to her the secrets of the stones around her. Within minutes she knew every corridor, cell an where all the living were.

Soon the guards drag her cage to the door of one of the holding cells fitted for large groups of prisoners and they shove her inside pitching in a bowl of water and another with a king's feast for the cells.
They leave laughing to themselves not knowing they should have checked the cell first for it is occupied by an injured wolf.

"So sad these groundlings are, they care nothing for life here or feel not the pain they cause." she says aloud to herself as she paces her cell after closing her wings
"It is a maddess like the water fear yet with less excuse other than hunger"

Lela detects the injured canine quickly an goes to him without hesitation.
Then kneeling beside him she reaches out an touches him with slender fingers as she softly chirps to him a song of friendship.
As soon as her fingers make contact a warmth spreads through his body and he might feel euphoric. Her eyes are large an filled with a kindness seldom beheld by any save from their own mother

"Make you better will Lela for she is Lifegiver an her aid you need, calm thoughts now for soon you shall be whole once more" she says in a voice that's like the music of a soft flute
"Lela I am and even here without sky I am who I am.
They the mad ones offer Lela water, meat an bread but none can I eat, for you it is and eat you must"

She smiles as she lifts her fingers away from him and then wraps her wings around her shivering body

Way up in a nearby tree, a young parrot balanced himself on his wrists and clutched a branch in his claws like a monkey, a position that would be uncomfortable for most but that he was perfectly adept at. His bright red feathers and an occasional rustling of the wings where all that gave him away, otherwise he seemed more at ease in the tree then he would have been on the ground. He also couldn't help himself from making the occasional inquisitive click or whistle- long ago this had been the way his people had communicated, and although they had more civilized language now, it was a habit that was hard to break when one had little else to do.

Macbeth listened closely to the Boulder's interpretation of the plan, soaking in every ounce of information and committing it to memory. It was easier for him to listen then read the plans themselves, because he still wasn't quite familiar with the script in this part of the kingdom. It was vernacular, the writing of peasants, and very different then the stuffy, ancient tongues he'd grown up reading from. In times past he would have thought that to be vulgar and not befitting of him, but political correctness was something that he'd had to learn to live without, otherwise it would have gotten him killed ages ago. When the panda was done laying out their plan, he climbed down from the tree to meet with the others.

"No." He paused a moment, thinking he was forgetting something. "...Sir."

That still didn't come easy.

Octivian ignored most of what the large bear was spouting, feeling he wasn't needed for the mission, his skill set was one that required a rather unique mission.Steal,frightening, espionage and scouting were his specialty so when he heard his name, octivian was taken by surprise. Now more intent to the plans he couldn't help but think about his partner. Kana sounded like a girl to him,perfect. Thought that was the only thing good for him, he couldn't steal anything or make a profit from anything you find in a prison. "sir how will we tell who the rebels are and the criminals, it's not like we have a list or anything" Octivian said nonchalantly. Personally he felt the need to ask why the people committed there crimes. He knew from experience that many theifs did so for there family, many killers killed for someone else or for love, bootleggers needed money, so did under ground fighters and whores. But there was not time for that, the world was cruel and those prisoners knew that all to well. Octivian knew just as well what happens to people in those prisons. Thought terrible as it was many fared worse if the were ever let out.

Kana stood there silently as Boulder explained. She didn't know why she was chosen for this mission, she had only been there for a month and she wasn't sure that she was the right choice. Kana understood that with her extreme speed and keen senses that she would be helpful when it came to saving others by retrieving the key. But she didn't understand why someone else went in her place. She was a rookie and risked her identity being found out by the guards. Kana walked over to Boulder, adjusting her cloakas she went. "Boulder, are you sure that you want me on this mission? I mean, I'm still new to all of this and I'm sure someone other than me is better suited for a rescue mission, or any mission for the matter." She said trying to keep the conversation just between them.

Octivian seemed to slide from know were towards kana, attempting to wrap his arm around her shoulders. "relax buddy you'll be with me, if anything happens I'll be there to help out. I think boulder wants to test you out, and maybe get a some experience in with you" the rabbit said it was clear he was ready to jump away at any moment. His arms were very tense and his feet and legs were ready to jump at the bat of an eye. Some discomfort was clear with his arm over the girls shoulder and he had long since taken it off. "look just stay near by, keep your guard up and hunker down and we will both get out fine" the rabbit muttered in a whisper before quickly scrabbling away. Letting out a sigh as he got out of there reach. " geez thought I was ganna get eaten for sure"

Lela recovers her Strength

Barely four and a half feet tall Lela appeared more a child than her words conveyed.
She looks up at her cellmate and motions towards the food an water the guards left for her then she goes over to a wall and spreads her wings wide as she flattens herself against the surface.
Tiny claws on her wings coupled with her feet an hands find purchase in the irregular surface and she begins climbing the stones. When she reaches the ceiling she merely shifts a bit and then like some giant spider she moves across the surface seeking something. She pauses a few times here and there then stops at one point near a corner and wiggles her toe claws into a crack till she's satisfied. She let's go with all but her feet and gently swings her body upside down and wraps her wings once more around herself.
All that is visible of her once she's settled are her ears, eyes and feet as she hangs there.

"Much better for Lela's thinking and resting. she says in a soft sigh.
"Oh so rude of I not making the introductions: I am Lela Starchaser of the Trembling Mountains and for knowing you I find great joy in life."

Her vocabulary is strange but her meaning of friendship unmistakable and her large eyes so soft and kind it is difficult to believe her capable of any harm to anyone.

"These are rude creatures that take Lela an you. Lela is not understanding their song and wonders if they are truly mad.
Lela asks you new friend if they are mad?
If mad they are then needing spirit singer not lifegiver an Lela is lifegiver" the tiny female snuggles into her wings as she shivers
"Is so cold here alone and no food to keep Lela warm, not eating grain or meat an needing sweet fruit soon or Lela finds spirit star of her dreaming" she says as she confesses that she is dying of hunger with no display of fear

Boulder listened. No questions from Macbeth. Octivian had one. It was valid. Boulder couldn't deny that. He sighed before speaking. "I understand what you mean. And as much as I'd love to question and help every prisoner in the tower we can't do that. It could put the mission, us and the village in danger. But an ally is their. Lela. She's a um... A fruit bat. Not very common. She should be easy to find. It's likely she'll be on the first floor. She's the only one we can afford to help." Boulder tried to sound as logical and understanding as he could. This was just one of the things the rebels were fighting for. Many prisoners were forced into the life styles they lived. And many weren't really guilty of anything. Some were locked up at the discretion of guards, Nobles, the King, etc.

When Kana approached him he stopped for a moment. "I understand you're nervous. But with your skills I'm sure you can handle things. And..." He was interrupted by Octivian's little entrance. "He's right. You have him. I trust you can handle yourself. And you'll need to watch each other's back. Besides, you'd do better teamed up with him than me" He said before placing his large hand on the young cheetah's head. "Relax. Things will work out." He said with a small smile before looking at everyone once more becoming a bit more serious. "Alright. If there's nothing else we'll be heading out."

Nebulae stood near by, shy and quiet she didn't say anything. She barely spoke, only to say "sorry" or "thank you" other then that she didn't say anything. She listened to what the mission was. When he asked if there was any questions, she remained silent. Nebulae's wings clung tight agenst her body and her tail nearly between her legs. Her ears layed back. She didn't want to go on the mission but she always does. Every mission she had she didn't like. Nebulae only likes what's after the mission.

Macbeth wordlessly loaded an arrow into his crossbow, and then looked at the other rebels fleetingly as if still trying to keep track of who they all where and what use they might be later. As far as he was concerned, there was little more to be said, they where only wasting time dawdling while their comrade wasted away in a prison cell. His mind turned to his own role in the raid and just exactly how he planned to do this. He'd never been trained to fight on the ground, away from the trees. His people owed all of their past military success to mastership of the forest and sheer numbers, so he was a little bit more then out of his element.

He figured he'd be relying on the larger creatures to do the bulk of the actual fighting, but he wasn't about to be shown up by them, either. He would fight to justify his continued existence to his ancestors, and make his presence felt even among the more physically impressive creatures. After all, in his own heart he felt that he was superior to them in every way. This belief was so embedded in his consciousnesses that even years of living among other races hadn't shaken it.

"I am ready."

Kana nodded as she listen to the Boulder and Octivian. She pulled out the hilt of Nova from it's spot on her hip and looked at it before concentrating and creating the blade of pure light. After she made sure Nova was working correctly she powered her down and placed Nova's hilt back on her hip under her cloak. Kana adjusted her strawberry blonde hair and placed it into a high pony tail with her two ribbons tied around it and her bangs framing her face, instead of her normal hairstyle while fighting of her hair in two buns behind her ears. Kana readjusted the cloak to place the hood back onto her head knowing they might pace through a public place. "Ready." She said simply with a slight nod.

Octivian poked the silver blade he always had tucked away in his sleeve some were. It struck blood and the rabbit smiled sadistically as he put the blade back in it's place and removed his white cotton shirt and denim pants. replacing them with looser clothes with thick fabric and leather straps that were hidden in the 'armor' it made him look very gritty, especially when he covered his new equipment with belts and straps galore. In truth he was hoping that he would be able take equipment from the guards, thought mostly for himself it was also in the benefit of his crew. By striping the men of there pricey items and pawning them off to who ever he could, octivian made a large profit, giving cut to the rebellion to pay for all he could. walking out to signal he was ready with a simple wink of his whiskers he was taken back by the glowing sword. "what was that all about, your sword must be very special" he said almost drooling thinking about the money he could get pawning it off, thought he never would be able to bring himself to.He may be a thief and a great one at that, stealing for anyone anywere, the rebellion was off limits. Boulder had done something to him, mentally of course (unless you want to make some crap about him saving octivian) he was loyal to boulder, because he provided the one thing octivian was never presented in his life: friendship.

The prisoner looked over at the newcomer when she was tossed into the cell, not moving other than just a flinch when the bat had touched him. He opened his mouth to speak but a word did not come out once he realized whatever this lady was doing was making him better. Upon making such an observation the wolf waited patiently, not attempting to resist her influence or get up to put some distance between himself and her. The stranger felt better already, yet there was caution to his movement as he slowly sat up and surveyed the room, a faint glow emitting from his iris that would fade a minute later when he was done observing the room. He hesitated at first, but then spoke, shaking his head in response to the bat's offer.

"I am alright, Lela. You've done more than enough for this stranger.." The man replied, hugging his legs and resting his chin on his knees as he peered up at the slot that had light filtering in from the halls, his ears trained on the bat that spoke. Her most recent statement was one that needed to be tended to, and he glanced over at the food she said she couldn't eat. There was meat, she needed meat, and he put together that cause and effect as he got up and took up the food and water, walking both of the necessities to the girl. "Starvation is a way to keep us weak, but if someone is to be strong, it shall be you miss." A smile grew on the wolf's face that peered up at her, and he continued after a few moments of silence. "A name is mandatory on my part.. But I doubt it will matter. My end will come sooner than yours after all. They wish for me to parish by this week's end... Perhaps I can provide some warmth until then whether it be through words or through this friendship you try to mend together between us."

Lela explains to Kasmir

Lela open her large eyes an looks at Kasmir an says
"Misunderstanding of thought have we, Lela eats only fruit an can eat none of that which the mad ones offer her.
Is why Lela makes offer of food to you who starves and can eat as for warmth that she speaks also misunderstood.
Lela is for family cold as she feels her energy disappear an wishes to her their dreaming song as it carries her to her star."
She wiggles in her blanket made of her own wings
"Body warm now with last meal of sweet moon fruit but lifegiving using much of it.
Who, who will hear an remember Lela's last song when there are no ears to hear it? Lela has called and none sing back to her their song of hearing."

Lela sighs softly then closes her eyes saying "Enjoy the food and live friend who shares the last song with Lela.
She does ask one boon of you cell friend, if she no longer breaths please take head piece and when meeting any skyborn give them an say Lela is no more found in this sky but joined the endless sky

She squirms deeper into her wings till only the tips show. Then from her drifts a sound so high pitched that he can only hear it because of the confining stones and his nearness to her. It is as if far away someone is playing a strange flute and their tune is filled with layers of emotion to complex to understand completely.

Ernash meditated inside his temple a mile away from the nearby village, His mind was calm as he didn't really sense any evil over the land, It has been the same for years on end to him but something disturbed him during his meditation, He didn't know what but he started to sense an evil approaching over the land, Standing up he clenched his fists walking outside to look over the lands, A large huff from his nostrils as the ox then starts to make his journey down to the village.

After about twenty odd minutes he would arrive standing outside as he started to think what might cause evil to return once more to this land, He tapped a hoof on the ground and let his grey old beard fly about in the wind, Waiting for an explanation to hit him

"The royal sword Nova. Only people with royal blood line and a pure heart can wield her. That's why the king no longer can wield it. That is why I now wield it. You also must have the royal blood lines light magic or else the blade will never be there as Nova draws on the power of the wielder." Kana explained pulling the hilt out and showing him how she could control the blade by making it grow out and then dissappear. After explaining she placed it back on her hip.

The canine only chuckled, setting the plate down and crossing his arms as he peered into the eyes of the bat that hanged above him. "Do speak of such things, Lela." He said, his ears doing a twitch before he continued. "You have a chance, you only need to stay strong. I for one have been doomed for the cutting board. The only thing that keeps me alive is the information they seek from me, but every day is becoming more painful than the day before... Until you came and helped me."

After a moment of silence a sigh escaped the prisoner and he eventually sat back on the floor, his eyes peering down at the food and drink. "So... Would it be rude of me to ask how you got here? If you wish I will tell you my story. The name's Kasimer, I was snatched away while walking the roads that are not too far from this town. There's a lot more to my capture, but perhaps I will only share that if you share me something about you?"

Kitty said

Octivian let out a sigh, it was truthfully worth nothing to anyone he could sell to, still an amazing sight. "well that certainly is a step up from most of us isn't it" he said with a nervious grin. His feet shook in the presence of the leopard, he didn't do well with predators. He really did not lie the idea of working with someone who could eat him, but the thought of what boulder would do if he talked back made him feel he should take his chances. She was cute thought, he at least had that to have with him.
