The golden rule for race is that It is allowed, as long has a good reason to venture close to humanity. We have Centaurs and minotaurs and drow and vampires and dwarves and a bug-thing and all sorts. As long as you aren't a 10 armed Triclops of babylon or something, and as long as there is a reason you to want to help the Queen's Blades and stop Demons from destroying the world, you are probably fine.
