"I'm fine now, thank you." Remus answered putting away the wand after charming away the scattered remains of the broken glass, answering Hermione's question before she went to the stairs to go work on the potion she had offered to make for his insomnia. He smiles a soft true one, a rare sight to see on the scarred and battle wary lupine man as she went up to work. "The brightest witch this century." He murmurs remembering the complement he had given her during her third year of schooling. He had meant it then, it still applied now, especially since she grew into her own. If he was being honest, and he did like that trait, she had been one of his favorite students to teach. She shared in his enjoyment of learning that he hadn't thought anyone else could have. It was refreshing to see one young still being that intelligent. - - - Rose walked along with the Doctor and waited until it seemed they were out of earshot of the employee. "Did ya smell cotton burning too or was that just me?" She teases slightly grinning with amusement having a whole lot more fun than she ever thought she would in this other universe. Truth to tell, she didn't think she'd really truthfully be herself like this again since her Doctor had left her behind twice. Sure she put on a happy face for her mum, dad, brother and John, but it was just that: a front she put up in order for them not to worry about her. She had after all spent many many many months doing her damnedest to reach her Doctor to warn him about the stars going out. Add to the fact that he took away her choice of going with him by just disappearing, but she would never blame him for that. It gave her a chance to attempt a regular relationship. But John had fallen for that parallel universe's Sarah Jane as she was a tad bit younger here than her original one. She liked that Sarah as much as she had liked the one she had met, and hadn't minded when they both agreed that their relationship was not working. "So, which one did you want to talk with first. I met up with this one, and she says that she lost four stone in a few days. I did suggest she cut back in case it got worse cause it seemed to me to be a bit excessive amount of loss." She informs him so that they wouldn't waste time. She put the not-so-gold necklace on, figuring that sooner or later, they'd need it, so put it somewhere she'd remember.
