No these aren't really spoiler questions so I'll be happy to answer them. Unless you want your character to specifically know another character (which is between the two RP'ers in control of each character to work that out) then everyone will be somewhat strangers to one another. While not knowing each other personally, they seem to have a sense of one another as they pass through the central city they all will live in. It's like they can almost sense the despair and brokenness of the other future Enders, but they are not acquainted.

As for defiance within the group, kind of? See, a major thing I like to do in all of my RP's is have each of the RP'er controlled characters get a personal arc within the story. Something that shines light on their background, and develops them more to the group as a whole, and maybe strengthen the bonds they share with others. So if people wish to have a separate operation be involved in their personal story arc then I'd be cool with that :)
