Things were getting out of hand fast and unless Viper cooperated, things would get worse. Kevin’s train of thought was quickly canceled by sudden chest pains in the enemy and the monk’s attack, topping it off by the fantastic sight of rapid regeneration in the agent before them. Kevin’s eyes widened at the realisation and things were being put together now. Was this him? Was this the product of Viper’s blood? Damn, if that was the case, this suddenly got a whole lot harder but he wasn’t going to lie. This was getting more interesting by the second. “So you’re the dog…” Kevin muttered beneath his breath, his fingers clenching tightly around the hilt of the katana. However, before he’d be allowed an offensive manoeuvre the bomb went heading for him and the woman standing behind him. This was bad and there was no time to waste. With clenched teeth, Kevin dropped the sword and threw himself over Dr. Douglas, sheltering her from the explosion. The pain echoing through his body was tremendous as his back was singed and torn off by the explosion. His jacket was quickly obliterated and the tank top beneath stood no chance. His skin peeled off from the heat and aggressive flames, followed by the meat below. Once the brilliant orange roar of the bomb had settled, Kevin’s ribs were clearly visible through his back though he seamlessly healed back together in mere seconds, leaving him unharmed. He breathed heavily from the ordeal and attempted to stand but quickly fell to his knee. That explosion stole some stamina and left him momentarily out of breath. Needless to say, his clothes were destroyed, forcing him to strip out of his jacket and tank top, tossing them to the ground. “You ass…” He managed, stumbling back up to his feet and grabbed hold of the sword again which had been knocked closer by the explosion. Kevin leaned against the wall for a moment, his eyes not moving from 32. The rain continued to bash down against them furiously and would mask the impending foot steps running towards the direction of the explosion. This alley would be filled to the brink any minute. Such was evident by the new mutant entering the fray, a silver being Kevin hadn't seen before. "Fucking hell...this is getting ridiculous..."
