Rather quickly, she tossed it directly at the incoming fuuma shuriken. She knew that he was going to be able to control it with the water whip he created, but it seemed to make no difference. After throwing the fuuma shuriken, Kira charged forward after it.

The two fuuma shuriken had bounced off each other, but with her pull she regained control of her weapon very quickly and sent it careening toward herself. Rather than control it further, or even sidestep, Kira let go of the wire that was holding it and placed one hand on the saya of her katana and the other on the hilt.
